The writing in the original trilogy is some of the best i've seen in a platformer.
I think my favourite moment was when the gang is betrayed by neyla and the end cutscene is not narrated by sly. Then when you start the next chapter you see bentley all alone while the background music is almost non existant.

furry has become such a broad term it has lost all meanings.
I know people that have drawn anthro characters since childhood and they have what would be called a fursona, but they never actually engaged with the fandom. A friend of mine instead is a furry that hates porn in general and is just in for cute art and cool ocs.
I enjoy furry artwork, no matter how saucy, but i fucking despise the fandom and try to avoid it.

Honestly penelope should've been the main villain, bending 90° leparadox and taking center stage. No way someone as smart as her would let herself be used so blatantly. Seriously, what even did she get out of the deal? she provided the time machine and leparadox... what? Can't be money, cause bentley built one himself.

In the game penelope betrays you out of nowhere, has a generic "take over the world" motivation and after she's defeated no one talks about it again. If it wasn't for penelope's picture in bentley's binocom i would've forgotten about her
