The classic metal armor is also at least a year old. Apart from few friedturkey's outfits there's absolutely no new content in the trailer.
TheRizzler is on the team for now..

What the fuck, why? The dude makes some of the best weapon mods on the Nexus.

These projects rarely work out as advertised. Shit like the Frontier have been in development hell for almost a decade and Project Brazil was a buggy mess when it went live. I was sold on Miami until:
>"We're currently looking for writers and implementers."
Mark my words, it will be 5 years before they have any thing close to release. Damn it all.
Are they still not allowed to use the original voice lines for the mod? If not, I won’t even both with this.
Just like pay 60 million bro
This mod will never be finished anyway
they can just mod them back in dumb dumb. only thing they're not allowed to do is ship the project with them.
Is a TTWL the only big hybrid mod that has released?
Why though? If it’s a free mod, what’s the difference between them having the voice lines on release or having some 3rd party modder do it himself afterwards?
Yes but they are basically the same game.
Better than a rushed piece of garbage
The difference is whether or not the ultra Jews ram their purple cocks up their ass for doing that or not.
I think bigger projects that attempt to create new/existing games on top of one of Bethesda's engines attract the ire of Zenimax over licensing issues, even if they're not-for-profit. If it's just a random person releasing a standalone mod like "Restore Original Voice Audio" as a harmless utility for people to unfuck their modded games, it not only flies under the radar but also doesn't jeopardize a much larger project if it gets DMCA'd.
The difference is you installing NV with your stolen fallout 4 is your committing a crime.
Because original assets from the game are literally legally not allowed. This is standard for all mod projects unless the IP holder says otherwise.
Bethesda could of just said, we'll hire you to make the FO4 New Vegas expansion.
Yo, Community that's 80 dollars.
I'd pay for it. If they had hired that means they could of expanded the team alot more.
Bethesda are going to pocket some money off the back of people buying Fallout 4 copies to play this mod anyway, doesn't really make sense to hire and pay a whole team of volunteers when they're already doing the work for free.
Can someone explain the appeal of these remake mods like TTW and this for people who already had the old games? Its extremely dull to play a game that you've probably played 4 or so times already, just recreated 1:1 in a new engine.
I feel like the modding scene would be much more interesting if the nostalgiafags who waste forever shitting out these remakes actually worked on full blown original content that actually offers something new. Just a waste of talent.
Different skill sets. Creating stuff is really hard for some people.
So you can play the game you know and love with better graphics, a load of stability fixes and enhanced gameplay. Other fan projects exist but they aren't guaranteed to be any good because they need creative people to design them on top of developing them.
Exactly. The worst thing, these remakes divert talented modders from working on original and interesting concepts like Miami or Cascadia.
People these days are obsessed with remakes.
I draw a lot and the internet community exists around fanart and redrawing your shit from years ago.
Then I go to music and see tons and tons of covers and remasters of old shit from years ago.
Then I look into movies and it's just remakes and reimaginations of old shit from years ago.
And finally I get on Zig Forums only to see the latest mod being... a remake from and old game into a new game.
Feels like creativity stopped entirely a few years ago.
because it'd be cool to play a buggy, ass, unfinished game I grew up on, on a less buggy, less ass, more finished engine.
It's not rocket science
So I can play my favorite game with better gamepaly graphics, QOL etc?
People are too lazy to digest new content, they feel it's safer to receive their dose of positive emotions from consuming content they already know and love.
except it's not dull
i use ttw because fallout 3 literally doesn't work properly on anything above vista
Is it better than playing something new though? If all the people working on this stuff put their time into stuff like cascadia, new california, the frontier and other original products something good could actually come out of it.
It's for the best, there's already been too much shit being thrown at us for decades, people need time to breathe and appreciate the actually worthwhile content right in front of us.
Bro the studios are not small and there is thousand on them. They have so much power that they develop multiple games. You see this "something new" can be just bad too, because people who made "good old" games are not in studios. And I'm less interested in original products because as market demands all of them pander to current main audience and I'm not fun of modern audience and their tastes.
most fan stuff that is like a new quest line or whatever turns really amateurish
i'd rather indie devs/modders do something of their own (like cry of fear, for example)
probably not, but I'll still enjoy and play it the same. Plus, if they include cut content, there's even more available
this is retarded and Zig Forums is retarded I wish you faggots would gain a trace of a brain
just played the NV mod beyond boulder dome, and if it didn't have atrocious voice acting it could've been a legit expansion.
Its a mod why is anyone following rules FFS retards
The fallout 3 remake died this way too
>Its a mod why is anyone following rules FFS retards
Because of fear being """""sued"""""" or banned from mod sites lmao. This is zoomer generation. They need epeens.
Why make shit from scratch when there's already mods of it? HOPEFULLY they at least improve them and fix the issues related to them.
amusingly, some russian dude managed to port fo3 and fnv worldspaces by himself, lmao
