I like the ecology mods and then make a self-assigned challenge to make an ecolo-friendly factory. It's never enough to stop the biters, but it's fun to try and it adds some depth to it.

The only way it "cheats" I guess is that you can get almost free fuel by mass-producing wood or bioethanol.

bob's by itself except for the circuits isn't very interesting. combining it with angels makes it 10x better

I'm playing krastorio 2 right now, it's great. What is your definition of cheats? Factorio kinda fucks with the concept of cheats because the game is a sandbox and let's you break the game over your knee in a multitude of ways even without mods. Some people think robos or main bus are cheating for example.
Also my dad tested positive for covid and he didn't tell me

it's been years since I did an angels/bobs factory, but angels was more than just "more recipies". It added completely different ore and chemical refining.

Krasterio is as much of a rebalance mod as a complexity one. It ups electricy usage on stuff like radars and lasers through the roof.

if you want to go full retard just have a single rail per train. if you have any intersection just use regular signals before

Trains are pretty straight forward once you figure out how they work.

tl;dr of train: block chain signal going into an intersection. Regular rail signal coming out. Then, just place regular rail signals periodically along the track.

You have to have signals going both ways.

Just think of each side as a one way system and it makes sense.

Bi-directional rail networks are really difficult to scale for size without trains constantly running into each other. It's much easier to use 2 rails moving in opposite directions from one another.
