It fixed a lot of my problems with the Witcher 3 combat system.
Camera was wonky
Writing was weird
I didn't agree with the protagonist, so that has an interesting effect.

Potential GOTY, yes.

Combat can be a bit annoying at first, but once it 'clicks' it is incredibly satisfying.
One thing I don't like is how the story needs Jin to be an honourless ninja by the end, so any ambitions of being a samurai are kind of dampened no matter what actions you take.
It also can feel fairly repetitive at times. Thankfully, the standoffs are fun and the blood splatter is awesome.

Play on hard difficulty and then switch to lethal once you get the hang of things. Also consider eventually switching the HUD mode to expert for full immersion.

It's pretty good. The multiplayer they've added is pretty decent too, finished the story shit earlier, and been playing the Horde mode since.
