8 / ((2+2) + (2+2))
8 + (- 8) = 0, quocient 1, remainder 0.
If done left to right, while taking equal precedence, the expression evaluates as such:
8 - 2 - 2 - 2 - 2 * (2+2) = 4*(2+2), quocient 4, remainder zero.

In terms of mixing up division and multiplication, remember that division is simply multiplication by 1/that number.
So 12 / 6 * 4 is simply (1/12) * 6 *4.
Likewise, think of 8/2 (2+2) as 1/8 * 2/1 (2/1 +2/1)
