The lack of random seeded maps kinda killed the replayability of it for me.

Same, but later on I wondered if it was just my attachment to AOE1 and 2 that blinded me. But apparently a lot of people complained about the game having this and that flaw.

It's pretty good, but it's not as good as AoE2. It's definitely worth playing if you like RTS.
