i dont like showing it off. ive only done it twice in the past year
do it anyway
Well, you see, actually, it's still in the planning phases. All I need is a coder, an artist, and a composer.

Come play dev bros. It's been fun meeting you
I've been making a realm of the madgod - styled pvp .io game. It's pretty fun
press play and 'join arena'
ok heres a guy from it
Was genuinely surprised by how fun this is, good job.
YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT AND YOUR FAMILY WILL BE DISAPPOINTED IN YOU.
they already are retard. i have nowhere to go but up
why free?
I've been working on the AI for beam cannons for capships.
Can you spare some more pixels?
he posted it for the ant, user.

Releasing in 6 days, still so much work to do
so can you fly those capital ships and have broadside battles?
No, fighters and smaller craft were always the game's focus, and if you're ever tried to fly a huge capship in a Freelancer mod you'll know why I'd rather stay away from that kind of thing.
yeah fair enough that would have been my next question. i also was thinking of how awkward the cyclops in subnautica was if you ever played that, like wiggling a greyhound bus around through tiny caves. the way they addressed it was to have you toggling through 4 different cameras but it wasnt ideal
I got it stuck in the lava zone, it was a pain to get it back to safety.
congrats user. I got filtered by the kyc stuff. my game is literally free and I have to make an LLC and send them copies of my SS card, birth certificate, blood sample, and piece of nutsack hair.
Oof. Yeah it's a lot harder if you're not in the US or a country that has a trade deal with the US
And then there's some European devs who don't have to make an LLC for Steam, but their government demands they do so anyway
Since it's free, though, you could always just ask someone else to put it up for you (you'd probably still have to fork up the $100). Otherwise just keep it on itch.io since that's easiest
it won't let me connect for some reason. no error either, just "connecting to server" forever.
i like the depth and sense of scale
I'm starting to learn gamemaker. Just read the whole documentation and now I'm watching some YouTube tutorials. Most are outdated because they were released before the script change in 2.3, but nothing impossible to follow so far
It’s going shite because I’m too tired. And Unity updates
beat the solo mode. was nice. the art style is pretty good for uniqueness even if intended to only be a placeholder.
You generally don't want to update your Unity version once you start user.
just got a little bit done, feels good
We called it for the night, but I'll put the server back up
I appreciate the words on the art. Alot of it is shitty but I hope it has soul
>Make over 100+ sprites for a character
>Just thought of a better idea
>Now have to change 100+ sprites to fit it
Are you making the game or are you making art for some other game?
Both. I just really like spriting
