Why are people so upset about game prices rising when cost of production alongside inflation has happened? I still will wait for sales on the vast majority of games cause I don't want to pay more than 40 for a game but I'm not too pissy that it's 70 dollars, will probably buy a few games at that price.

I wait until a minimum of 50% off. I wishlish games that come out I want and then wait. So in essence Cyberpunk 2077 for me is not being released next month, but next year maybe. Operating in this way I get games I want to play at least 50% off and all I have to do is wait a year or two.
Because games are filled with microtransactions to get the full product. you're paying $70 + $20 dlc then they pull an expansion a year later you have to pay $30 bucks.

Asking for better wages is just as dumb as asking for cheaper games. Most consumers will probably accept the increase and continue paying, while whinjng won't accomplish much besides convincing indie games to drop prices. If you're going to clamor for either cheaper games or better wages clamoring for better wages would be the better option. Also how can you not get a job that pays above minimum wage? For my first 2 years after high school I worked at Key Bank for more than double minimum wage, then I quit to focus on starting school and got a job that was more flexible. I'm 23 now
