I'm still confused is this supposed to be an actual female with a biological vagina?

I'm still confused is this supposed to be an actual female with a biological vagina?

She's censored. Thanks, feminism.

game should've had ellie enter a training marathon with roids n shit to become twice as buff as abbie, then they confront each other end game and have a classic slug fest. Maybe have a McMahon cameo to commentate

Well druckmann self inserted his penis into something and I'm assuming it wasn't her ass

How is it female empowerment when they have to look traditionally masculine to be powerful

>that bicep vein
Mirin

The strongest women have penises. That’s why they win everything at the Olympics.

god I'd love to see some of the people calling abby female empowerment address this question

Why? Why not just make it the son of the Doctor out for revenge?
Would it be too uncomfortable for the trannies to watch the male on female physical violence?
But tranny on lesbian violence is ok?
What?

They don't win at shooting, given they always have the gun pointed the wrong way.

Oh shit

She's just ugly. That's it. I legitimately don't understand why that, of all things, became the thing people complain about most with this fucking game.

OP here it's not a complaint I'm just honestly confused

Not every woman in the game looks like that though. Ellie doesn't look traditionally masculine.

And Abby fucking destroys her

And Ellie massacres hundreds of people. I'd say they're both pretty empowered women.

>I'm still confused
I'm still confused, is Zig Forums still seething and being a little bitch?

Abby is fugly, even by hyper muscle standards. There's only 9 pictures of her on Rule 34 which should give you an idea of how fugly she is. I'm amazed Druckman was able to create such an unappealing character. Abby is MEA Peebee levels of hideous.

She's supposed to be but we all know it's supposed to make people more accepting towards manly women and feminine men.

Yes.

You've never seen female bodybuilders, have you? Abby is actually based off of one, by the way.

But the woman Abby is based on is actually attractive.

actually still looks cute

The guy they interviews didn't even work at Naughty Dog retard. He was literally guessing.

>joel kills his father
>for four years she trains to match joel's physical strength

Druckman's inability to express this process in a way that is comfortable for the player is evident and the leaks amplified his shortcomings as a writer.

Western trans people are the only ones with a complex about not wanting to look as feminine as possible.

>that is comfortable for the player
Who's uncomfortable? They live in Seahawks stadium and she's ripped. Pretty cut and dry

I mean, the chief in the screenwriters' department was unable to think that the audience would need some early exposure to both the psychological and physical development that led to Abby's decision to become a killing machine. Otherwise we would not have this thread. Which I think represents the confusion of lot of people. In fact I myself when I saw the first trailer where she is hung and about to be killed, I had no idea what gender Abs was. Why is it not the same with Zarya? Because the character, although not part of a campaign with cinematics, was prepared and presented in a direct way, with solid ground for the players to understand her. What does not happen with Abby. Being that I love her, I can't think of a worse way to introduce her in the trailer and the first minutes of gameplay and Joel execution. It's like tripping four fucking times in a row.

>female empowerment
>make them physically masculine
>make them think like men
>make them act hypermasculine
>they would used as examples of toxic masculinity if they were men
>the only way to make a strong female character is to make her a man
It's not the desire for equality, it's female envy.

Look at Ripley from Alien 2 as a prime example of a strong-yet-feminine woman. Level of talent? Admittedly none with weapons, gets man to teach her. Competent in other ways, but only to a believable degree. Driving motivation for heroism? Motherly instinct. Behavior? Clearly different than that of the men.
It's interesting to juxtapose her with Vasquez, who is every female empowerment trope at once.

Ripley in Alien 1 and 2 is so fucking perfect character development.
