I'm hesitant about buying it.
$20 for 3 missions doesn't sound like too much, depends on their quality.

The difficulty is insane. Its not enjoyable anymore.

just finished the first mission. Thought it was really good.

Very fun levels (with the exception of one or two places in Blood Swamp).
Stupid story.

>No sexy bosses like the Gladiator and Icon of Sin
4/10

already finished it, took 3 hours, wasnt that hard, final boss wasnt that fun

Everything else was pretty great though. Just wish it was a bit harder.

2 hours in and I'm still on the first mission, playing on nightmare and some of the big arenas have take 2 or 3 attempts. I'm loving it so far, if Eternal was doom 2 then this is plutonia, from the very start the kid gloves are off. My favorite spot so far is where you enter a small hallway, it locks you in and drops a cyberdemon on you
I also like how mauraders enter with a slip gate. The turrets are fucking annoying though, but I get it, they're to keep the player from just circleling around the arena, kinda like chain gunners.
The music is great, Hulshult and that other guy really pulled through.
I'm not a lorefag so w/e on the story, its serving its purpose to make cool setpieces.

Just finished my UN run of it, the skin and podium are pretty meh.
Holt > Atlantica base > blood swamps but they’re all good. Final boss was pretty disappointing considering we’ve had 2 games leading up to it, he’s only got a couple of attacks, there’s not much build up, he just kinda shows up in your way, etc.
The ending twist is so retarded it hurts, but I guess it fits in with the ‘shitty 80s movie’ vibe they were shooting for with the rest of the game.

I didn't play it because you niggers REFUSE to answer my question about bosses. And I REFUSE to waste even a fraction of my illustrious time until I know that this dlc has at least ONE good boss.

it has a pair of cubes

Samur was fun.

They basically play like master levels

Levy's stuff sounded on par with Mick Gordon for the most part
Hulshult's stuff was generic as dick

I'm just going to wait until part 2 releases.

Yeah I also think I'm going to wait for a discount. Not feeling this after the denuvo incident.

Switch port fucking WHEN?

Unironically git gud. I open DOOM months after i played the campaign and on Nightmare i got to the seraphim key without getting frustrated, i died a few times though.

Just lower the difficulty until you have fun? It's a single player game who cares

So what's the quickest way to deal with the floating cubes bosses? By themselves they aren't particularly threatening but they slow you like a motherfucker and getting constantly bombarded by hellknights, shield zombies and pinkies is really driving me up the wall because I'm more preoccupied with them while the stupid cubes wittle me down or slow me so the mobs gut me alive.

Don't focus on the mobs, just focus on extreme constant mobility until you can rapid turn and the eyes with a ballista shot

have the ballista ready

RIP Quakenigger predictions for the final cutscene

>how you guys enjoying the dlc?
DLC is enjoying me.
>2 Marauders
>megatentacles
>Marauder guarding buff totem
>buffed Arachnotron hiding in fart swamps
>more Barons than in my 2 playthroughs of both 2016 and Eternal combined

How's the music after Mick Gordon was fired?

Well, at least it was nice of id to listen to those who were complaining about how hard Eternal was by making the DLC even harder.

its pretty good but it doesn't compare to what mick made

more subdued, esp near the end. 2nd level has a lot of blastbeats though, if ur into that.

It's fucking shit. It's like they got some intern to try and recreate Mick.

Wish we could get a date for part two. I don't want to play it and then have to wait like 6 months to finish it.

First two missions are a fucking breeze.
Third mission is slow and stunlock hell. Fuck the third mission

The Spirits at the end filtered me hard. I got all the way through the entire thing on UV, including all secret encounters and Slayer Gates, until the last phase of the last boss, where I activated Sentinel Armor because I just couldn't git gud enough to deal with the Spirit Pain Elemental/Spirit Dread Knight combo
