Still gathering spells and wands in my current run, in east 3 now, how many worlds are safe to visit before crashing becomes a problem?

Fuck off faggot
This is a Among Us thread now

no, I exclusively make shit wands and carry my half destroyed corpse to the vault with pure skill alone

Finally killed this fucker.

Was only able to test one of the spells, the meteorisade one before it vaporized me.

behold, the most useless spell in the game

Im not gonna lie, Im really getting sick of dying in the coal pits over and over again because a ghost noita has an OP wand and the game hasnt given me shit

That's actually one of the spells I used against the pit boss, it's a slow target so the lightning storm will likely hit it. I also had lightning bolt as well.

What does this actually do?

Whatever the bolt hits it creates a homing lightning storm spell over the foe.

hits them, then creates a cloud that stays in place. I have no idea what its supposed to do because literally everything moves so it misses

Haven't played in awhile, did they actually add anything with the official launch?

More of everything, it's a wild ride.

>finally get a good run going
>leave Hiisi Base with all the ingredients for a late game wand
>giant jungle spider thing bores through temple while I'm inventory managing
>lose ability to edit wands, have no way of fighting the skeleton guard or digging through brick
Unironically, why is this allowed? Fuck this stupid game.

Once you realise how wand building works it's actually fairly easy to build an OP wand.

I just got this game yesterday. Is there anything I should know off the bat or would I just be spoiling it for myself?

Game is too random for my tastes. You get little control over what happens.

Pingpong Path on Luminous Drill with timer into Luminous Drill with timer
I don't know why it extends the Luminous Drill range so much, but it does
It's like if the Farsight from Perfect Dark was a machinegun

>telekinetic kick
why didn't you tell me

you can spray most liquid on yourself to extinguish flames or wash off toxic sludge. that's about all you need, figuring the rest out yourself is half the fun

The game world is a lot bigger than you think

Are there any general things I should look for with my first couple of wands and spells, or is it gonna be too different every time? It's fun just messing with things but I want to find something decent a little more consistently too

It’s pretty surprising how much shit they crammed into the full release.

Pick an additional life, the rest is useless

I thought this game wasn't that great but it really grew on me after I installed the mod that gives you the perk to edit wands everywhere.

yes

look out for CHAINSAW
best spell in the game and you can get it very early

"HIISI could be here" he thought, "I've never been in this snowy cave before. There could be HIISI anywhere." The cool wind felt good against his bare cheeks. "I HATE HIISI" he thought. A kantele song reverberated his entire wand, making it pulsate even as the ambrosia circulated through his powerful thick veins and washed away his (merited) fear of minorities after dark. "With a good Luminous Drill wand, you can go anywhere you want" he said to himself, out loud.

Why do some wand modifiers work every 2rd or 4th shot instead of every time?

Someone explain

It's fucking enormous.

there's a lot that the game doesn't tell you, here are some tips that don't spoil lore or secrets
>tinker with wands everywhere is a deceptively good perk; the "always cast" perk can be godlike with good RNG
>right click on flasks in your inventory to drink out of them
>pick your battles wisely; some enemies are better off left alone, don't get too greedy
>projectiles and explosions that destroy rock generally won't destroy gold
>it's generally a good idea to open chests with damage instead of manually
>areas off to the side (like collapsed mines) are dangerous, but they tend to have strong wands
>fire immunity doesn't make you immune to fiery explosions, just to catching on fire; electric immunity works in a similar way
>electricity is extremely dangerous and it will fuck your shit up
>range and accuracy are important, often more important than raw damage
>don't be afraid to use spells with limited uses
>the statue inside holy mountain (all the way to the left) is for testing wand damage and on-hit effects

why do I only find bugs that get me killed instead of cool ones like this

better map with pinpoints

I found a wand that had an always cast Personal Gravity Shield spell on it which made projectile users powerless against me.
I don't think I'll find that one ever again.

>tinker with wands everywhere is a deceptively good perk
what are you talking about
this is the single best perk of the entire game

the ping pong trail is making the chainsaw projectile (yes, it's a projectile, just an incredibly short-ranged one) shoot back and forth at extreme speeds.

try the same thing with a luminous drill

1: Check that your wand isn't Shuffle.
Shuffle wands pick a random order to "read" the spell list in and are just as likely to pick a base spell as the modifier before it.

2: you're potentially trying to fire the wand when you don't have enough mana to do every effect on the wand.

3: Modifiers only apply to the next spell to the right of that modifier in the spell list
They can be applied to groups of spells though if you're using a double/triple/quad cast modifier

but the ping pong is after the chainsaw, so it loops around and modifies the spark bolt instead

I want to know why the rate of fire is suddenly x100

to add to
The reason it speeds your casts the hell up is because placing a modifier in the last slot of a wand causes it to loop back to the beginning of the spell list to look for spells to modify.
When it finds chainsaws, those chainsaws apply their cast and recharge rate reductions a 2nd time.

I've seen better
