No Devil May Cry thread? Foolishness, Dante, Foolishness
>loses to dante
>sent to hell
>loses to Mundas
>becomes Nelo Angelo
>loses to Dante
>dies
>becomes virgin emo fag
>finally gets resurrected
>loses to own son
Imagine a worse fate. You can't.
He didn't actually die at all.
Gotta say Dante's summon swords are cooler.
Bayonetta could beat Dante in a fight.
Maybe if you fags actually talked about the games instead of constantly vergil worshipping like the fedora faggots you are, your threads might not be so shit.
Oh wait, there's nothing redeemable in DMC5 so that's why there's nothing to talk about except the final boss, which was copy pasted from DmC.
These threads are the ultimate cope. Capdrones need the rope.
Explain why or die
We don't discuss that
>stop sucking Vergil's dick
>first reply is anti-vergil
Why are you gay, user?
Does satan and god exist in dmc?
>brap
?
How would you feel if Devil Sword Vergil was a Nagamaki style sword.
Wanna talk about your favorite game? Oh yeah, you don't because you're just a shitposter that only cares for (You)s, that have the same value as your boring bitch-ass "opinion"
>gayer Sephiroth
no thanks
Also his hair is stupid in V and looks like he got bogged.
>What it lacks. IS THIS.
There is a Lucifer but we never meet him and he's not important to any story/lore, just a reference (same as references to other religions and mythologies peppered through the series). There's no real god that we know of.
>"NOOOOOO HE DIDN'T ACTUALLY DIE HE JUST LOST IN A FIGHT SO BADLY HE WAS SENT TO THE UNDERWORLD!!!!!"
Hope Hell and Hell mode is improved for the special Ed, having to wait a good 20-30 seconds just to get back to playing everytime when downed is such a pain.
If I had it my way, there would be no gold orbs
I've only ever played IV but I put it away when I had to switch to Dante and I had no idea what to do with him since at least Nero was pretty straightforward. Is the series worth it if I don't really care about combo autism and just want to do cool action shit?
>image
For one second I thought you managed to find a pic of Vorgilsaurus from DmC.
Just don't get hit lol
Yes, combo autism is more a bonus than a requirement. DMC4 had a lot of development issues which led to Dante being somewhat incomplete, so his toolkit kind of requires everything to be available at once and you to know what everything is to keep up with Nero, who is a lot more straightforward as you say. In 3 and 5 he's way more rounded, you can pick one weapon, one gun, and one style (in 3 you can only have one style at once anyway, unless you mod it) and he still absolutely holds up. 5 hits a perfect balance between allowing you to do everything at once but not requiring you to do everything at once like 4 does.
Does Vergil 3 on Very Hard have him do the Spiral Sword belt and crown? Whatever those moves. Or is that only one DMD?
But the best way of doing that is fighting enemies one at a time and keeping distance, and that's not cur-ray-zee I want to go in and do the riskiest shit possible.
That's good. I only really used Swordmaster when I was playing as him with Gunslinger only really when someone was too far away and I needed my score up.
The recommended thing is to just go in release order minus 2, right?
I wouldn't mind a nodashi but the only new weapon Vergil needs is Nelo Anglo's sword.
>The recommended thing is to just go in release order minus 2, right?
Yes. The combat system becomes more complex with each game, so going in release order is recommended.
Although the first and third games are actually the hardest, but it's not by a huge amount.
Well, there is some concept arts for that.
Always release order, and yes you can skip 2. 1 may or may not be your cup of tea, it's a lot more straightforward and horror-inspired (originally it was meant to be a Resident Evil game before Capcom said to make it its own IP) but it still holds up so give it a go. For when you get to 3 onwards, best way to think of styles is that Swordmaster is the default and is just more attacks, Trickster is for mobility and can make a lot of fights easier, and Gunslinger and Royalguard fill their own little niches, less useful until you've figured out their tricks but a lot of fun when you do. Hope you enjoy, m8
In 09 Genesis, there's a little side room that Nightmare opens up inside the catacombs with some enemies in it. Anyone know if that room is just enemies and if I'm just softlocked by a bug, or if there's some hidden puzzle to open the red barriers?
I miss the visual kei hairstyles, bros.
>A cane with shards of metal floating around it
Kinda cool
Then get good
