Is RDR2 the best video game experience in existence?
Is RDR2 the best video game experience in existence?
its the best kino experience
graphics is insane but gameplay is absolute pure empty trash
>the best
dont go this far
only with the Long Days mod
name 1 better game experience
RDR1 and BotW
it's a movie
it's up there
Game made for normalfags
dogshit story & characters
This but unironically.
Gameplay is great. It's the way the game uses that gameplay that's disappointing. The story missions are extremely on rails, and the world could use with a little more interactivity. That being said, spending days camped out in the snow hunting and living off of what you're hunting in single player is kino as fuck.
Red dead revolver >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> RDR1 > RDR2
>b-but muh le 0 gameplay and 100h of shit talking
>BOTW
>30fps docked
>fields of nothing
>Boring trials
>Terrible weapon durability
Want me to go on?
>Muh weapon durability
You haven't even played the game.
Holy based
and here we see the zoomer in his contrarian phase.
>Gameplay is great. It's the way the game uses that gameplay that's disappointing
world is just empty and im saying that with 100% in single
>spending days camped out in the snow hunting and living off of what you're hunting in single player is kino as fuck.
>you not always have everything what you need
hunting every animal for 100% is kino but fuck those birds spawns
this.
Not him but BOTW is extremely flawed, not only as a Zelda game, but as a game in general. And yes, weapon durability is both a cause AND a symptom of the bad design ideas that the game has. What it does excellently is being a framework for open-ended connected game systems. What it does poorly is everything relating to how the game actually uses that gameplay. Combat is serviceable at best, and complete bullshit at worst; shrine puzzles range from mildly entertaining to completely irritating, and all share the exact same color palette that gets old very fast; dungeons are okay but again share a color palette and reuse the same general gimmicks; bosses are very meh; and the game's entire upward progression plateaus hard after the first ingame hour.
If BOTW's systems had been better use, and they could have come up with a better reward for exploration than >shrine then the game would have had potential to be beyond excellent. As it stands, it's barely within my top 5 Zelda games
This
>hunting
Hunting is riding in any direction and shooting anything that moves then watching the same animation as you remove a few meal of meat from an animal that could feed an entire family for weeks.
yes i have and please respond to the other points rather than the meme one.
Especially the point about it struggling to run 30fps. The fact is runs so poorly and you suck Nintendo's dick harder than Americans blow jews tells me you have terrible taste in video games
BOTW is a non-stop back and forth of normal people loathing the weapon durability system and hardcore nintendo fans insisting there is nothing wrong with it.
Is it true the protagonist from Revolver is uncle in RDR1 and 2 ?
>Not playing in on Cemu
Why would even bother with a console
I don't know what RDR2 improved on that RDR1 didn't already have.
botw is better than rdr2
There's nothing objectively wrong with a durability system, but how BOTW chooses to use it, and how that lessens the value of any item you may find from exploration and whatnot - therefore further disincentivizing it - is the problem.
The only movie game done right in years. Not exactly hallway like, fair amount of basic gameplay, top notch production value, characters, setpieces, graphics are insane... Naughtydoguesque experiences have nothing on Rockstar. Also, it boggles my mind that they achieved 4k/30fps on xbone x two years ago. And they tell us that for some reason current day trash cant be atleast 1440p+ and 30/60 fps in some cases? Come the fuck on, devs just dont give a shit.
Massively boring.
>"i compare two completely different types of games together and subjectively state that one is better while parading my inferior taste as objective opinion": the post: the game: the nigger: the faggot
that is a factual incorrect shitpost
The only problem with weapon durability is that there aren't more weapon types to play with. As for the shrines, i did all of them and i never found an "irritating" one, but i can't say that about the boring ones which are a lot. I agree though with all your other points, they could make a better game and they showed that with the dlc.
Yet, even with all these, it's still the best open-world game i have seen yet.
rdr2 sucks big ass
It's literally The Irishman of videogames: frontloaded, needlessly long, bogged down with loads of underdeveloped characters and plotlines that go nowhere, rubberbanding pacing, and ultimately a story that didn't need to be told, because it doesn't even tie into RDR 1 particularly well. A huge, overblown self-congratulatory vanity project.
in which way?
they are both completely different
