Mordhau if you have the autism to learn and master it

Nioh

Nioh

Mountain blade is good

So how do you consider Sekiro Vs Nioh2?

Sekiro
It's actual sword fighting to the death, and despite not having a combo system of any kind, it still manages to be engaging

or just camp the catapulte

Not Nioh that's for sure

C O P E
I’m guessing you’re the faggot that said morrowind or mordhau?

Sekiro is just dark soul but with parries instead of rolls.

Which means instead of spamming rolls and pressing light attack for 5 minutes, you spam parries and press light attack instead.

Souls games have shit combat.

He's the faggot that said Nioh

I prefer Nioh

Finally someone said it. I feel like world gone crazy.

both games try to do different things

Exanima

Realistic? Hellish quartet or whatever it was is probably only realistic one.

Just good? Sekiro, m&b, blade symphony (I guess), bushido blade, sword of the samurai (newfags will never know, also quite realistic).

>Souls games have shit combat
You're right. Sekiro has the best combat.

people just praise souls because they think just because all games nowadays are all journalist difficulty and completely remove all difficulty, basic pattern recognition is somehow a feat and gets them epic gamer cred or something.

The souls games really REALLY don't deserve their popularity. If they released around 2004 or something, they'd be completely overlooked.

I said it long ago and people laughed. But still, parrying is far more interesting visually than phasing through swords.

If your game has the sword magically pass through people with 0 resistance, no blood, not cutting, just damage to an arbitary bar on the screen, its shit

Jedi Academy

You forget that they also have quite nice maps and other little bits. Only mouth breathers like souls games solely for their combat.
And no, I am not talking about the "lore".

is that 無限の住人?
haven't finished it

>only mouth breathers
So most of the people who play them? You realize the games are almost universally and ONLY praised for their combat, right?

youtube.com/watch?v=4tbcZvGSgVk

Maybe, but before nu-Zig Forums people actually talked other things than "I AM HARDCORE PVPEEER" shit.

Currently? Hellish Quart.

these are normie zoomers don't listen to them

if you want real edge and impact where combat is fluid, precise and masterfully crafted, Nioh

if you want weighty realism where it looks similarly masterful but is not created on reflexes and precise input but more of a "it looks good qte style", then Ghost of Tsushima

Bloodborne's Chikage too

Wrong. When it comes to interconnected hub levels souls/bloodborne is always referenced

I recall normies are saying how the interconnected area is great, which is something that already exist in metroidvania games, but since it's 2d, normies didn't know about that

Unfortunately you are lost in the irony too.

Games have been doing that shit since the dawn of time.

Blade and Sorcery

Not really, I just want to give it a shout.

This

exanima is great, but it's afflicted by the perma early access curse.

Dark Souls gets praised for muh lore muh atmosphere. If you mention the gameplay sucking wet shit, fanboys will cry ''git gud''.

Games before Zoomers Time

Well, such map design was pretty much dead after metroidvania games, and again after DS1 because DS2 and DS3 has shit map layout.

Name 100.

>lore
dark souls lore is one of the worst I've ever seen in a single videogame and if you personally know someone who praises it, I can guarantee you they have a single digit IQ.

The fucking director himself says that he wrote the lore the same way he used to learn english as a kid, ie, by only understanding 10% of it and having to imagine the rest. You're paying someone to write you a story, they give you a few words and say 'ahah just figure out the rest'

This is not a matter of opinion, it is the single worst lore I've ever seen in any videogame, no competition.

>atmosphere
The games look decent but atmosphere is more than that. It's being immersed, which they do nothing for. All the mobs spawn in the same places, do the same things, and the areas all look the exact same, all the time. What you mean to say is, the games look pretty. Which is fine, but they are not atmospheric.

Monkey Island

>This is not a matter of opinion, it is the single worst lore I've ever seen in any videogame, no competition.

You haven't played a lot of videogames then.

Yeah you’re mad

>How appropriate, you fight like a cow!

Nope. I meant what I said. You can play some absolute garbage like Senran Kagura and the lore is still better, because there's a story, no matter how bad.

They don't just fill the screen with pretentious words that mean nothing and pass it off as lore.

Wrong.
There have been zero games on the scope of Dark souls with interconnected hub levels without loading screens in your face

>anime tier
Nioh and Metal Gear Rising
>Akira Kurosawa tier
Sekiro and Ghost of Tsushima

>how to spot an underage

Ghost of Tsushima was literally made especially for this

>t. Someone who never beat Sword Saint, probably filtered by a Seven Spear
i know you think you can criticize something after watching or experiencing it for 15 minutes, but maybe get past the first hour of content first.

Rattle some off if ye'd please me m8
