Soulfags deserve the rope. It looks fine.

A ton of devs somehow managed it with PS3 and PS4, albeit with varying success in terms of bugs/etc but it's obviously still easier than making the whole game from scratch.

Warrior Within is the only game in PoP trilogy I played and I loved it. I was an edgy teen when it came out and it hit all the right spots for me.

Not always. When making a game from scratch you have the luxury of writing specifically for a target system. When porting code, sometimes you have to get creative to make it work the way it originally did without errors or conflicts. It's certainly cheaper, because the assets have already been created, but it's not always easier. Good, accurate ports are an impressive feat.

I played sands of time for the first time few months ago and the remake only needs combat improvement like they did it after in ww.

2008 looks stellar but it has nothing interesting to it when it comes to gameplay.

Sands of time was also a revival, and the two sequels were dogshit.
The 2008 game was also a revival, and it flopped massively.
The movie tie-in was also a revival, no one bought it.
