Yes.

it was the only good new IP of the 2010s

2 > 1 > 3

Don't @ me.

1 and 3 are.
2 fans should replay the game, it was enjoyable on the first playthrough but holds up terribly.

Yes. The fandom? No.
Really puts it into perspective when this board is one the few good places to discuss the games.

MEAT ON THE-

Does she have a boyfriend?

No. But it is good enough. The first one, at least.

yes her name is asahina

It's great. Unlike Ace Attorney, you can get a good enough idea from Evidence alone who it is. I feel like im actually investigating the crime. The soundtracks are all really good too.

Yes but avoid the anime. The anime adaptation and DR3 suck ass.

it's shit!

fuck off danganautists
go back to your general

I really enjoyed it. I once heard someone call it "delicious anime garbage" which is, I feel, a perfect description. It's not top tier literature, but it's fun, the characters are likable and the plot keeps you engaged.

Yes, and his name is Kenshiro.

this, it's anime mcdonalds

I think 3 is where it all falls apart. 2 was way better before 3 existed because I thought the actual intent of 2 was similar to MGS2 where you are repeating similar events of the first game. Nagito even points out how similar each case is to the original game.

3 proves that I'm wrong and that the writing team is formulaic as fuck. Not to mention that Case 3-3 has got to be the biggest wasted potential ever.

Self-aware genre mediocrity that's not ashamed to have fun > self-serious mediocrity that forget to be entertainment.

It’s shit as both a game (which it barely qualifies as) and a story.

You need to play more video games

Akuma's daughter is beautiful.

Makoto > Shuuichi > Hajime

I see some variation of this post in every Danganronpa thread. That is scary pathetic if 1 user is patrolling Zig Forums 24/7 just to ineffectually police a weeb VN discussion.

I'm so fucking tired of seeing people describe things as "so-bad-it's-good" or talking about how they enjoy something ironically without appreciating any of the actual good parts because they don't want to be seen sincerely liking something that's a little weird.
I see this happen all the time with JoJo and it's the gayest fucking shit. 'WOOOAH ARAKI FORGOT HAHA ISN'T THIS SERIES SO WACKY AND STUPID I LOVE IT"

no one said it's "so bad it's good", it is very good, it's not the highest form of literature or gaming

>they don't want to be seen sincerely liking something that's a little weird
Odd projection. Many people like bad things because bad things are fun. It's not hard to understand.

this

It's not "ironic" to point out that Danganronpa is shallow genre fare, it's fact. My post even said that's a good thing which that's the opposite of ironic distance.

>I'm so fucking tired of seeing people describe things as "so-bad-it's-good"
That's not what I said even a little bit though. I didn't say that Danganronpa is terrible but I hate it anyhow, I said it's great even if it's not top tier literature. Stop being so sensitive.
