Anyway, I think I've kind of figured out the Hellish Hag now and I'm much less scared of it after practicing village area near the shrine at the Okehazama mission.

It has two stances:
1. Slashing stance (when its teeth don't glow)
2. Lunging stance (when its teeth glow)

During its lunging stance, it will do up to four lunges in a row at you. At any point in these lunges, if you can hit the glowing teeth you will automatically break them. I've tested a simple shuriken against it and it breaks the teeth instantly. Of course, the shuriken can occasionally miss because it doesn't home into the teeth and may hit the eyes, scalp or neck. But if it can hit the teeth, it breaks it, guaranteed. Mid-stance spear strong attacks are also good at hitting the teeth. These glowing teeth can constantly regrow, so don't think that just because you've broken the teeth once that she'll never have them again throughout the fight.

During its slashing stance, it has two different combo variations that it can end prematurely at any time if you get too far away:
1. Right slash, left slash, double hand slash, slower hand slash.
2. Right slash, left slash, right slash, left slash, double hand slash
During its slashing stance, it can also do an instant backturn double slash if you hang around behind her.

At any time during these stances, the Hellish Hag can do a grab. The grab has two different variations. I may not be 100% right on this, but I believe that when it is in the slashing stance, the grab is just a normal grab, while during its lunging stance the grab can be burst countered. The grab start-up frames and animation is the exact same though, so you don't have to worry about learning two different dodge timings. As soon as it finishes flailing its hands, it will put both hands on the ground to jump at you. A half second after it puts both hands on the ground, roll forward. High stance roll works 100% of the time with this timing.
