It's better for the hot air to stay contained within the console to keep it warmed up. Games play better when the hardware is warmed, not cold.

No, it isn't. At all. You don't know what the fuck you are talking about. Go look at the xbox teardown video and then go look at a teardown for any random laptop. The cooling solution designs are nothing alike.

DF ran a game that was most "intensive" on xsx instead of running hitman which wasnt nearly as power hungry. They also kept the console usage at 205watts for a duration and got the temps to level out before checking. DF test was more efficient at showing temps.

My pc pushes out cold air. Are you saying it has bad cooling? It barely reaches over 43c on max load.

The whole point if cooling is to transfer heat away from something as fast as possible. If something is getting hot then the heat being transferred away is slower than the rate the heat is generated.
If the air coming out if the console is that got then there is way too much heat for the cooling to adequately dissipate. There is a hell of a lot of heat being built up inside the console.

This is why I put my PS4 in the microwave for a few minutes before long gaming sessions, it widens the circuits so they can handle more gigabits.
