it's ok

I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely not perfect tho. But the story and setting were really nice. Also really liked the different powers, but the game could have definitely use a bit more ennemy variety. And maybe a better way to switch weapons.

Typical remedy creation where the gameplay gets repetetive really fast.

MC's resting bitch face doesnt help it either.

These niggers couldn't even release a complete edition of the game.
Bravo!

It has objectively better gunplay than anything else Remedy has ever done, but even with that it gets really repetitive eventually and it doesn't do the SCP stuff nearly as interesting as the first few hours of the game imply. It also looks really good and runs better than Quantum Break. The ending of the main game feels really rushed though, and I got bored of it before finishing all the DLC. I pretty much only bought the game for the Alan Wake DLC but I quit after beating the first DLC and just looked up the story.

it's trash, remedy hasn't made a good game since mp

>Is it fun without RTX?
the fuck is this question

Worth a playthrough.

It's decent. The crafting system for upgrades is fucking stupid, as is the timed side-missions that can literally popup while you're in the middle of a story mission. The ending is also pretty lame.

However, the setting seems interesting and I'd be excited to explore it more in a sequel. Additionally the level design is pretty good.

I'm sure the main marketing point for Control was amazing RTX graphics. Is it still good looking without RTX?

>Is it fun without RTX
fucking hell the absolute state of Zig Forums

you can perceive having fun if your game is being displayed with the most advanced graphics rendering possible?

do you count the pixels to make sure?

Lame third-person shooter. Cool art direction though.

you god damn graphicsfag
yeah I guess, better play Max Payne and Alan Wake beforehand though

Just finished playing through it yesterday overall it's pretty mediocre, combat is boring and repetitive but the setting kind of makes up for it

Good looking and fun are not mutually exclusive

I played through on a PS4 Pro and it looked dope and was fun. Yes, I am aware the frame rate was lower than it would've been on my PC.

>RTX tech demo
>"Is it fun without RTX?"

What do you think?

It's only extraordinary in how utterly average it is. The only people who obsess over it(of which I know some irl), are "big brain" film fags who never shut the fuck up about Lynch.

Echoing others, it's pretty good, but it gets a little stale by the end, and the DLC doesn't add enough. Between both DLCs there is only 1 real new enemy type, and a miniboss you fight 4 or 5 times. The base game is better than the DLC, but the DLC really bummed me out by not changing anything. You get one new power in one of the DLCs, but it doesn't really do much, and they really borked the Alan Wake DLC by not having you fight Alan Wake enemies. Instead, you just fight the same dudes you've fought in the base game. It's boring, and you also never leave the building. Call me crazy but I expected Alan Wake DLC to be something new, like actually going to Bright Falls and seeing the outside world. Instead it's just more office buildings, more of the same enemies, and I really see no reason why it took 6 months to build something out of the legos that they already had on hand. My advice is to just grab the base game and piss off with the DLC as it is shit.

Also the DLC mo-cap is really off and not of the same quality as the base game. Any cut scenes in the new DLC aside from the 2 Alan Wake scenes feature really weird mocap, it looks like everyone had a stroke and only one side of their faces are tracked.

>t. Poorfag cope

It's a 7/10, nothing more, nothing less

Is that the girl who plays the main character? Why did they make her look like a man in the game?

The story, characters, lore and concept are all interesting but the combat is just generic shootet, not even the powers managed to make good or diverse.

I'm an idort, and my PC is probably better spec than yours, retard.

I don't know user, floating through hallways while lobbing (maxed out) office furniture definitely felt fun.

Speak for yourself, I thought telekinesis and levitation were a lot of fun

>tucked in shirt pulled over tight body
hng

>Is it objectively a good game?
I'd say so.

>t. 1660 super
Hahahahahaha

It's bad. Terrible repetitive combat and only a handful of different enemies.

It's better than Quantum Break but that ain't saying much.

Were the names of the characters a reference to Clarissa Explains It All? Her dad was named Marshall Darling in the show.

Its a solid, but a bit repetitive, third-person shooter. The only reason it have gotten so much exposure is because all the rtx stuff desu.
Also based Finnish janitor.

So yeah, my PC is better than yours. How long is your dick?

me on the right

Dyke with superpowers : the game
0/10 story
5/10 gameplay

Why did they make the main character a tranny?

>good game
yeah it's decent

>fun without RTX?
It makes everything hyper reflective since it isn't real raytracing. But it doesn't matter, the game looks bad anyway; like it was made with Unity

Short and boring. The games missions are all 'go to place and kill enemies'. There is no variety outside of occasional platforming sections. The enemies are all very similar. The force powers to throw shit are genuinely cool, wish it was in a Star Wars game.

same

There's no legitimate way to beat the second Tomasi fight. They probably should have play tested it.

It's alright. Their previous games (not including QB) were better.

Would be far better in first person.

Its a good game if you like the X-files and Fringe. If it did not have that epic exclusivity early on it would've been universally loved. Sadly 505 games the publisher went full retard. Thankfully they've redeemed themselves by putting the game on GOG.

in a shooting game, what activities other than killing things would you rather be performing?
you sound like a fucking nintendo redditor

I assume you hid under safe spot where he couldn't hit you? No shame, I did too, and now I am wondering if they playstested with wrong damage scaling or something.

I didn't even bother finishing it, the settings and the art direction were both very interesting (seemingly vwry heavily inspired by the scp universe, which I used to really like). The MC is so unfathomably uninteresting though, that I struggled to follow anything the game was telling me because I hated every line of her dialogue.

The game would have been better in first person and with a mute, male MC.

It's about getting good. Once you git good you'll beat him.
