When does it get good?
When does it get good?
never I'm afraid
If you don't enjoy it from the start there is no hope.
I enjoyed playing from the get go but quit up in the mountains, fuck that snow.
Never, cause you pirated it and managed to miss out on the only enjoyable thing in the game - finding shit other people did for creative shortcuts.
When you get good
This. Overall I think the game could have used a little more variety as far as objectives/enemies go, but it was pretty neat to see what other people did as well as build upon them.
The moment you get to deliver the first corpse.
It gets MAGNIFICENT at chapter 3.
After the massive chapter early on
>Bridges BB BT Timefall Voidout Chiralium Chiral Network America The United Cities of America President Amelie America Strand The Death Stranding Cuff Links DOOMS Repatriate the Beach Central Knot City Capital Knot City Port Knot City Deadman Die-Hardman Heartman
Ironically, the walking sim part is the best aspect of the game because the cutscenes are god awful and the nonsensical terms the game constantly spews at you only gets worse with time.
It starts off good. Then it gets bad again when you unlock vehicles and ziplines.
So far i can agree.
Just delivered the first body and i'm really digging the gameplay, but the hour long cutscenes absolutely take away from the game.
It doesn't
Is Death Stranding worth playing?
The characters never shut the fuck up.
You unlock a rain shelter, they'll try to explain what it does. You unlock weather prediction, they'll to explain what it does. As if none of those things were self-explanatory enough. The most fun I've had in this game comes from trailblazing my own way through hostile territory but even that is constantly interrupted by people like Die-Hardman trying to explain to me what a map does.
Get filtered like the rest I guess
It was the first game I cared to do a 100% run in a long time
>Bridges
the company you work for, aims to reconnect America, or what is left of it
>BB
Bridge Baby from stillmothers connected to the other side used to detect ghosts and power up the chiral network
>Voidout
Explosion that happens when BT eats human
>Chiralium
crystallized chiral matter from the beach
>Chiral Network
Internet hooked up to afterlife dimension
>The United Cities of America
self explanatory
>President Amelie America Strand
self explanatory
>The Death Stranding
a supernatural event that destroyed the line between world of living and dead
>Cuff Links
basically a phone
>DOOMS
condition that connects you to the other side, causes nightmares and visions/insanity
>Repatriate
power to come back from the dead and hurt BTs with bodily fluids
>the Beach
afterlife dimension that people pass through when they die, sometimes they get stuck, everyone has their own beach
>Central Knot City Capital Knot City Port Knot City
self explanatory
>Deadman
artificial human without soul, does not have his own beach
>Die-Hardman
A nickname from military with tragic background
>Heartman
has life defined by his heart condition
wow that sure was hard to understand
Most people get filtered after the first delivery.
And I forgot BT = Beached Thing
self explanatory
>Baby from stillmothers connected to the other side used to detect ghosts
>Internet hooked up to afterlife dimension
>condition that connects you to the other side
>power to come back from the dead and hurt BTs with bodily fluids
>afterlife dimension that people pass through when they die, sometimes they get stuck, everyone has their own beach
>human without soul, does not have his own beach
Do you realize how ridiculous this, and by extension you, sounds?
Sure, it's utterly ridiculous, that's the appeal
It peaks right after Port Knot City and then swiftly goes downhill, with every tool you unlock that somehow ends up reducing the game's complexity instead of increasing it.
you fucking brainlet unable to entertain abstract concepts without thinking that they made of 100% granite.
Dumb ESL poster.
Back to GTAV with you.
Kojima games are always cutscene heavy at the beginning
>back to a real game
Sounds good to me!
Anti-kojimers cannot live without kojima or his fans living rent free in their heads
I fucking hate zoomers. We should have basic math captcha to filter then out.
Kojima just wants to be Lynchian. And he fails at it, every time.
>Game comes up with a tone of weirdass lore and stupid nicknames for shit that could easily be described without the shitty shorthand.
>Rambles on and on about how something simple like a fucking rain shelter works, every time you pass it/build one.
BS plot is still more reasonable than most Final Fantasy.
Ahh yes, to be 13 again...
I think the names are fun, if a bit on the nose.
>again
Can't fool me, user.
