This has been the problem with Miles since his inception. Thanks to his creator and writer, Bendis, Miles was legitimately never allowed to be anything more than just "black Spider-Man". It wasn't until the Spider-Verse event gave him SOME semblance of personality as being the straight-man when he was surrounded by the more wackier Spiders and finally Enter the Spider-Verse let him feel like his own character with his own motives and world instead of just taking Peter's. Unfortunately the game Miles is dull and there's really nothing compelling about him in this game so far unless you were already a fan of him.
