Buy expensive """gaming""" mouse
i use a 2003 International Business Machines optical mouse with a red THINK scroll wheel
>advanced complex components are prone to malfunction
Whoa, next you're gonna tell me the F22 Raptor requires more maintenance than a P40 Warhawk.
Yes
Reject stealth
Return to reciprocating engine
>don't buy a G502
here i found your error
Yeah bro I use a ball mouse and it’s just as shit as it ever was
Capitalism, ho!
>cheapest components and materials are prone to malfunction before their planned obsolescence
Fixed that for you.
Well known for double clicking out of the box.
Mine wouldnt hold a right click out of the box.
g502 sucks dick.
idiot OP, thats why you get the mice that have buttons on the side. Pic related is what I have. My m1 and m2 will never die as long as I can keep rebinding them to the 12 buttons on the side.
This is the only expensive mouse I buy. The build quality is fucking garbage but the ergonomic shape is great and stops me from developing carpel tunnel syndrome. I wish they'd get their act together and actually improve the build quality but fuck it's hard to top "it prevents me from getting carpel tunnel".
I have a cheap SteelSeries Rival 110 and it works like a charm.
>advanced components
A fucking BUTTON, nigger? How many controllers do you think I own where the mother fucking BUTTONS stop working?
>smash your left click like a caveman
>it starts malfunctioning
I've had my G403 for a few years and the mouse itself has never had any issues at all
The USB reveiver on the other hand overheated and killed itself so I had to buy another one
How heavy are those? I wouldn’t mind getting one but they look pretty heavy for a mouse.
enjoy your input lag
Nobody cares if you're only do casual gaming.
the fuck? the scroll wheel and the... clickers haven't gotten any more advanced. this is just a case of planned obsolescence tricking goys into spending more money

I hate how accurate this is, I do 3D work so I need to get one with the side buttons for efficacy, but they all ways break 3-4 months in. Meanwhile the basic mouse that came with my first PC from 2006 still works fine.
I got one like that and middle mouse started double clicking within the first 15 days.
I don't smash any buttons, I don't even play games with them, they multibuttoned mouse's are just poor quality.
How many times did you drop your gamer mouse?
Thanks for the rundown user, keep us posted
>Buying a 'gaming' anything
This is your brain on mustard
I never really thought about it but I guess it's not heavy. It feels like the inside is mostly hollow.
I play FPS games with it and I do great, however if you're moving from a regular mouse you may need some time to adjust (you may also want to fiddle around with mouse sensitivity). Another plus is it gives you more buttons to mess around with. Pressing the middle mouse button on it feels a lot more natural than "press down on the scroll wheel".
Really my recommendation would depend on whether or not you feel like your mouse hand is developing carpel tunnel. If it is then this mouse is amazing for relieving it. If you don't have carpel tunnel then I suppose you could do without it.
Confirming this user. I bought a vertical mouse after having some hand pain and it solved it almost immediately
I hate myself for being a retard and buying this retarded mouse, at least mine doesn't double click but the scroll wheel is cheap and feels like absolute garbage that breaks down so easily.
From an engineering perspective, the design has already been pretty much perfected since like 2002.
But they need to justify new products, so they have to keep designing new things to sell.
I've been buying Everest and Rampage all my life. A man got to support his country.
Everything except the refresh rate. You can’t play counter strike with a $5 mouse because it won’t be able to keep up with fast movements over a large mousepad.
>play counter strike
Low quality bait, here's a small list of improvements:
Tracking speeds:
- Older sensors usually spinout or doesnt track when moving too fast
Lens rattle was extremely common.
for Shapes, i can somewhat agree. MS intellimouse is pretty much good for today standards.
Mice feet have improved substantially
No side buttons.
No flexible cable.
Longer button travel
Lower quality wheels (sometimes none at all)
higher polling rate (500Hz is the standard now)
