I actually played it before Wastelanders and for a Fallout game it was a rather unique experience.
You know that feeling you get when you are the last one to leave a big empty building at night and no one is around. Thats what the start feels like, it actually felt like the apocalypse had happened.
It's a shame most people will never experience that bit of Fallout.
