lolno it's full of hackers and bots that hack now
You going to have to learn a lot of things, but you can.
yes
How do I make this game not feel like shit? I used to play it a lot and I watch a lot of competitive matches but it just feels terrible to play for some reason. Like it's somehow super slow and I can't aim at all. I'm tempted to say it's the fov or something not being high enough but I don't know.
hats = skill so try buying more lootboxes
Super slow? Never played Scout?
I have a few hats from when I played years ago but no combinations I try end up rewarding me.
I thought scout would be fast enough but it's not really the movement speed itself. I think it's just somehow my own perception of movement is really slow for this specific game. Is there any way to get the fov to 110 or higher? I think that might help and I really want to be able to enjoy playing the game.
Figure out how to open the console then try

Packed with good shit for your gaming experience.
I just started at the beginning of October and im doing fine.
You'll be fine as long as you don't use the casual/competitive matchmaking system. Stick to the server browser and you won't find a single hacker or bot.
Don't watch comp, you'll learn bad fundamentals for playing the actual game. There's more to TF2 than rollouts, consider a more methodical approach.
absolutely. play a little offline first just to feel out a character you like, then play CTF modes. best way to learn. Also, use marketplace.tf to get weapons. you can all the weapons in the game for like 3 dollars.
that's the best way to play it, anyone who tries hard at tf2 has lost their way
>pointing him to diaperfag furfag's video
it's a good video i guess, but i'd much rather not give that faggot views.

This. A big part of TF2 is fundamentals like positioning and aiming and projectile arcs, the best way to develop that muscle memory is to just dive in and get your feet wet. You're gonna suck, but the important thing to remember is to not get mad and play cooperatively.
yeah but beware of hackers and bots or you can just join a community server
Guys, I just had the most genius idea for how to make the GRU both balanced and fun.
Make it honorbound.
Youtube a tf2 set up tutorial, there is a lot wrong with the game that can be optimised.
Yes, but be prepared to deal with shitty devs, bots, and a LOT of shit from other players
>tf2 runs at unstable 30 fps for me
>think that it must be because i'm a wi-fi user
>eventually get a cable
>still runs at unstable 30
>try installing different configs
>type hundreds of commands into the console
>set different launch options
>update all my drivers etc.
>STILL runs at unstable 30
nearly 4k hours in tf2 and at this point it feels more like i'm fighting the game than other players
Have you thinked in lowering your resolution?
it didn't really make a difference
in fact i think it runs better with high and ultra high graphics settings
It's chaotic as fuck but that's the way its suppose to be
Just play. Don’t be afraid of getting kicked by retards
oh wait shit do you mean screen resolution?
i tried playing full screen, windowed, borderless windowed, again didn't make much difference
unless you mean resolution size which i don't think i've tried yet

Everytime I watch this guy's videos I can't help but feel bad for him. Seriously I saw him in game once when the halloween event this year started and he was pretty damn good, but not to a point where he ruined the fun.
Resolution size, don't know if gonna work with you, but i change 20 fps to more than 60 fps just by putting a non-HD resolution.
thanks will try tonight
the game that created lootboxes is considered one of the best games ever
is good when valve does it even though they make you pay to open something that you have no idea what is going to be
these steam trannies are fucking ridiculous
Just pick a 12vs12 or 16vs16 server and fuck around. Embrace the chaos.
noooooo not the cosmetic lootboxes valve how could you
A time machine back to 2007-2009. That pretty much applies to all PC gaming at this point, or what’s left of it
its so popular because it is specifically very easy to pick up and hard to master. so yes.
its also why the game has lasted so long

Comp is where hardcore TF2 players go to die. It's not your time yet.
