Nintendo are the most anti-consumer company, Zig Forums will never admit it though.

yeah that's bullshit.

pretty sure thats sony, nintendo close 2nd, but snoys will never admit it though

I hate that too. Even if you have both fighter passes, you'll never be able to save a match with a Mii opponent.

Consoles are for retards and console manufacturers are inherently anti-consumer, but low iq retards will never admit it.

Wouldn't that be really good free advertisements? Like, "oh damn Terry is fucking legit I should buy him!" or some shit?

I just bought a new phone and it tells me I can't take screenshots in certain apps. World is really getting shitty. How long until Microsoft removes PrtScr screenshots from Windows?

>thats sony, nintendo close 2nd
Nah. SEAnigger region is still absent nintendo eshop.

Can someone without DLC fight against someone with DLC online? If not, it could be the case that the game doesn't store data for those DLC characters unless you own the DLC, and so cannot recreate replays since it doesn't have the data for characters not contained in your game data.

But if you can fight against other players with DLC characters, then there's no excuse and that's jewish as fuck

You definitely can, the only dlc I own are Piranha, Joker, and Steve and my friends can still fight me with the ones I dont have

This but unironic. I stopped buying Nintendo consoles after the awful mess that was the 3ds.
Don't take me wrong , the games on it were fun. But seeing all your favorite apps getting deleted because "lol suck it" just gets annoying.

Absolutely true
>sell shitty under-powered meme hardware to drive away third party devs
>make one big hit game per year
>sell it for $60, no price drops or discounts ever
>wait until people cough up the money, I mean they just spent $250 for a switch they're not gonna cheapen out on a $60 bing bing wahoo, they'll buy eventually
>they'll even buy your shitty pokemon games cause they're addicts and you're the only one who sells the drug, even when it's objectively worse than it ever was before
>put a raspberry pi inside some cheap chinese plastic and sell it as a (s)nes mini for a ridiculous price with like 20 games
>put some bloom or a shitty artstyle on an old zelda game and sell it again for full price
>bundle some old, untouched 3D mario games together and sell them full price for a limited time just to further assfuck your customers

Sony doesn't nearly fuck you in the ass as hard as Nintendo does.
Most of my PS4 wishlist goes on sale all the time, games often costing as little as 20 bucks or even 10.
On the Switch the best deal I've gotten was Donkey Kong TF for $40 instead of the usual $60.

Yeah, if that's the case then mechanically there is zero excuse for not being able to view replays with DLC characters.

>Yeah, if that's the case then mechanically there is zero excuse for not being able to view replays with DLC characters.
Perhaps the replays are not so much replays but are simulations so the replays are not able to find the characters
But seriously though super smash ultimate needs to release a definitive edition if fighters pass 3 is a thing.

That's the point I made in my first post. Replays ARE simulations in every smash bros games that has them, because it's a lot easier to store that data rather than compiling and storing a large video file. In order to have a replay, your game does need to have all the character data for DLC characters.

But the game demonstrably DOES store all the data for DLC characters, even if you don't own the DLC, since you can fight against DLC characters online even without owning them yourself. If it were an issue of not having the data on your system, then you wouldn't be able to match up against DLC characters.

It's most likely a technical problem with the way replays work

This, and it was even worse back in the day with their obsession with selling you overpriced gimmicky peripherals and add-ons. I think that peaked in the early 2000s.

Remember the e-reader? How content for games like pokemon and the SMB3 port for GBA was locked behind this physical paywall? In order to access the content, you needed to obviously have the game and a GBA, but then you also needed to obtain the e-cards, buy an e-reader, and then also have A SECOND GBA and a link cable to connect everything. Gee, thanks for the "innovation", Nintendo.

Oh, and let's also make a multiplayer-focused Zelda game for gamecube but then require every player to have his own GBA and GBA-GC link cable in order to play. That's not a needless pain in the ass whatsoever, oh no.

Cope snoy.

Nice headcanon

Nice non-argument

Lol. Is that defending nintendo?

The data for the DLC fighters is in the updates (so you can play them online) so why would this be any different?

nintendo does some real stupid bullshit but this is full blown indefensible retardation and I hardly give a fuck about being able to save smash videos
also having a dozen+ dlc characters at over $5 each and then charging almost a dollar just for a fucking mii skin is more criminal than horse armor, and this problem isn't exclusive to smash, a shitload of fighting games are like this and they keep getting away with it.

If Nintendo were any other company they would be as hated as EA and Ubisoft

I remember a long time ago when I was excited to see where the future of video games was heading.

>Nintendo are the
ESL spotted

Found the n*ntoddler

you can use plural or singular for organisations retard

Your comparison is ass, my man

That's fucking retarded since the patch that you're forced to download includes all of the DLC shit even if you aren't eligible.

You can, but not in the way you used it, dumbass, especially when you add "The most" right after are when 'is' is suppose to be applied in that context.

I'm not him retard lmao
