I miss when the leaders looked more gritty and hardcore. I also miss when all the leaders felt like they'd kick your ass if you looked at them wrong. My first experience with WoW was when I came on for Wrath of the Lich King. I remember the leaders of each faction being far more threatening. I think the biggest mistake was trying to humanize the leaders or make them sympathetic instead of just keeping them as the heroes of their factions. It's why back then, raiding cities and going after the big guy was so cool.
Nowadays it feels like if you go there, you'll be greeted with some snacks and a warm bed instead.
I thought it was retarded til I learned the reality

>join horde >this music suddenly plays
I knew something was different today. It doesnt even sound correct anymore

>I miss when the leaders looked more gritty and hardcore Never happened save for vanilla at best >My first experience with WoW was when I came on for Wrath of the Lich King Wotlk was the expac that turned WoW into a Disney comedy
Alexander Thompson
Goes to show really how far WoW has fallen if even Wotlk had some level of grittiness.

The warcraft franchise went from warhammer to wow pretty much, if you know what i mean

>I miss when the leaders looked more gritty and hardcore Tyrande literally absorbed pure rage so she's gone more hardcore and now it looks terrible. Velen also showed up on numerous occasions in Legion and actually used his powers Garrosh was hardcore, sure but even after his episode of absorbing sha energy he still paled in comparison to Sylvanas shattering the barrier between dimensions Vol'jin died like a bitch on Broken Isles and was rarely involved in anything other than his insurrection against Garrosh Cairne also died like a bitch and generally did nothing
So if anything the leaders got more hardcore and involved.

>cataclysm Oh no, the world is turmoil, all of us stop fighting and lets ban together! This was the start of the downhill >panderia We're enemies again, but uh...Garrosh turned evil so let's fight together AGAIN >WoD Okay, okay, we're enemies again. We're meant to hate each other forev--srry, Garrosh is our enemy again, along with some new baddies. Let's band together once more! >legion Alright. Let's fig---oh, there's some new demons or something now so I guess we're just going to help each other from now on.
Post the fairy story transmog to fuck with these marketers.

>Tyrande literally absorbed pure rage so she's gone more hardcore and now it looks terrible. She's like a puppy trying to act like a guard dog. Screaming a lot doesnt make you instantly badass. She's still a nelf titte monster, and thats all she will be.
>Velen also showed up on numerous occasions in Legion and actually used his powers
Velen has been a glorified hax police for years
>Garrosh was hardcore, sure but
But he was written out by new writers who dont even know the culture that he was created from
>Vol'jin died
Good.
>Cairne also died
I wish he still lived. Now we're stuck with this Baine shithead who might as well be a traitor. But oh right, that didnt last long. Sylvannas being gone is nice at least
Oliver Moore
Technically, everyone would be playing Shadowlands rn, but Blizz delayed it, so there's a lot of rampant people who have nothing to do
I just don't get why they didn't make a cool set instead of something that would piss everyone off because of how retarded it is. Like, it sets a bad precedent and doesn't bode well for the future, but the art team CAN still put out a decent set here and there. So why the clown suit?
Eli Cruz
there are only 7 left because they generally will not stock a lot of 4XL shirts. when they get a good deal from suppliers they will place much larger bulk orders for standard sizes and then put them on sale to drive sales. this is business 101
Grayson Jenkins
Your game is fucking gay, my dudes.

> all of us stop fighting and lets ban together! > Then BfA happened, and I don't even care anymore. Well that's fucking convenient!
Lucas Campbell
Art team and business team are likely tied at the hip. It's only more downhill from here.
Alexander Garcia
Unironically, they datamine conversations across the game globally and concluded that the majority of players are degenerate homosexuals, this set makes business sense, they wouldn't produce it otherwise.
