probably the ps2/ps3 arena fighters, budoika or whatever it was called, raging blast 2 was awesome as well, really wish I still had my ps3 to play it again.

B:TK3 is the best at being a dragon ball game
some other games are better than it as games but nothing else comes closer to emulating the fights from the series

FighterZ is the best one but still pretty bad since it's held back by it's awful roster and single player story

The BT series on ps2

Why make it a new mode inside an old game instead of releasing it as standalone? I don't get it, it's like they want it to fail.

FighterZ. without a doubt. nothing else captures the high energy Xtreme sick action feeling of DBZ. plus the feeling of training to git gud fits well and makes you feel like a badass.

Looks like the old carddass cards from the 90's.

not even close zooms zooms

FighterZ is the best and is a "real" game. After that, Budokai/Infinite World offer lots of fun. Then I'd say some of the RPGs like Attack of the Saiyans on par with Burst Limit (which is basically just an evolution or Budokai/Infinite World, not as polished as those games tho).

Budokai Tenkaichi 1, 2 and 3 are meme games and anybody who unironically believes that any of those three are the best DBZ game should not be taken seriously. They're pretty boring unless you're 5 years old.

Ever played World Mission or Fusions? Those games are pretty fun.

While it'd be neat to have a online carddass game, I feel like it'd make more sense to make an online version of the DBS card game. They already have that dinky demo, might as well expand on it.

marketing

>all these look like DA ocs
>Are actual characters, only one of them is game origin, the rest are from the anime
Holy shit.

namco has to release a db game a year or they lose the license to the IP

xenoverse 2 had the same shit happen to it, they genuinely do not give a fuck

This one is a hidden gem

Did he really give Moro a senzu bean?

>Fighterz
>Budokai 3
>Budokai Tenkaichi 3

Best 3 games.

Legacy of Goku
Super DBZ
DBZ Fighter

Runner ups
Tenkaichi / Sparking 3 (mods don't count but they're cool too)

Dragon Ball Z: Sagas

Budokai Tenkaichi 3 is the absolute best DB game yet. I hope it gets remastered someday. [FighterZ is pretty good too]

People tend to praise the BUdokai games on Gamecube/PS2 and the RPGs on GBA/DS, so probably those.

This nigga's right. Everyone jerks off to Budokai/Tenkaichi 3, but this was the best.

this looks way more interesting than the game itself
they should made that into a standalone game instead of that butchered story game

The story is just a lazy rehash of Perfect Cell. Goku gives Moro a senzu bean, asks if he's ever trained because he's the strongest guy he's fought and it'd be great if he was a good guy so they could fight more. Then Moro fuses with the Earth and if Goku beats him he destroys the entire planet.

Because DB is the biggest anime/manga franchise worldwide and it's games sell great.

PS1: Lmao.
PS2: Budokai 3, Budokai Tenkaichi 3, Super Dragon Ball Z.
PS3: Burst Limit, Raging Blast 2.
PS4: Xenoverse 2.
NDS: Attack of the Saiyans.
(they can all be played on PC alternatively tho)

It's a massive IP worldwide, arguably the world's most popular anime, and it's nothing but fighting and training to fight so it's easy to adapt.

To me the holy trinity is Advanced Adventure, FighterZ, & Tenkaichi 3 with Super DBZ as the forgotten classic, but I have played none of the RPGs and there's apparently a lot of good ones.

it's based on it

>Recommends BL, RB, & XV but not DBFZ
>Doesn't mention other handhelds (Advanced Adventure for GBA, Shin Budokai Another Road for PSP, Extreme Butoden for 3DS)

Is Kakarot any good? I got an Xbone copy for super cheap.

Kakarot
