You posted it
I never stop loving them

stop shilling globehead propaganda
starsector
>Revived love for video games
>posts a walking sim.
yeah i even learned the song
amazing game too
Genshin Impact
>it's been two hours, I need to make this thread again
do people actually believe this?
ya'll making me want to buy this, worth the 10 bucks on egs?
The vast majority of the gameplay is spent walking around reading codex entries, Gone Home style.
except that big part where you fly around exploring insane planets. also, what's "gone home style"? haven't played that shit
if you don't mind reading quite a bit to understand the story, and exploring without any quest markers, then yes! it has some of the greatest ideas in video games that i've yet seen for sure
I've spent ~$80 on this game buying it for friends who have all since played it. None gave any praise less than "great" for it.
>fly for 2 minutes
>walk around reading shit for 20
>Sun blows up
>repeat
Alright you boys convinced me I'll pick it up for the long weekend in early november. Thanks
yeah, i too bought it for some friends and watching them play it is sadly the closest you can get to replaying this game :(
Your game, Disco Elysium, Pathologic 2, Death Stranding and now RDR2 (Yes, I am a third world pirate). Here is to video games that try different things and not just iterate on concepts we've seen a billion times.
love how you ignored the "exploration" part I mentioned, like navigating hazards and figuring out what's going on at each planet
you're incredibly dishonest, and I doubt you've played it
agree on all of these
>Exploration
By walking around and reading shit.
You forgot Obra Dinn, user.
DISCLAIMER:
The game is being shilled heavily on Zig Forums, so, here's some things the shills don't want you to know.
> The developers claim to be hardcore and nothing is off the table. Despite this, Faggot is censored and any racial slurs are changed to abstract ones.
> The game developers consider themselves to be "Soviet" and the game uses the likeness of, and voice acting of podcast members of ChapoTrapHouse and RedScare, members of Antifa, a Domestic Terrorist organization according to the DHS.
> Your companion in the game is a gay Asian. You have no option to permanently remove him from your party. He will get upset at the player for dialogue options and chastise them for choosing them.
> Despite the game claiming to "Punch all sides" and present a diverse range of political opinions, in order to unlock right-wing politics, one must subject themselves to health damage every time they choose one.
> Choosing left-wing options will reward the player with health, experience and even money.
> Whilst the game, and shills declare the game to be an RPG, it is completely devoid of combat, party management or even meaningful choices that affect the ending of the game. It instead plays more like a visual novel
Didn't play it yet, but it's on the radar. Heard a lot of good things.
I loved the game but It's not perfect. I think the biggest issue for most people would be that your reward for your exploration and puzzle solving is just another bit of information to read. There are some things in the game that wowed me because of the visuals but I find space fascinating so I think that played into it.
I think a safe indicator for whether or not you would like this game is if you've watched episodes from older star trek series like TNG and enjoyed them. Playing through the game kind of felt like a good episode of TNG except lonelier.
So close to being a decent game.
>Too short
>Not enough puzzles
>Woke bullshit in the walls of text
>Not enough gameplay
>Ending is mostly pretentious garbage
Some cool ideas, but, if they just fixed those it'd be great.
also forgot to mention that the entire game is a big puzzle you need to figure out
that's part of it, but there's much more going on and you're just straight up ignoring it. it even has platforming
Persona 5. Last console I bought before its release was a PS1. I wish all you bros could have experienced that renewal. Even games that get lambasted as looking like shit looked amazing to me and the amount of games Ii have to discover will keep me busy for years.
You keep making this thread and no one cares
Cyberpunk 2077
based
>Get game because Zig Forums won't shut the fuck about it.
>Walk up to first NPC and click them.
>Wall of text and no VO.
>Uninstalled and refunded.
If you're too cheap to pay voice actors you don't deserve money.
this zoomer can't even read LMAO
based and extremely poorly-read pilled
It both revived it and prevented me from ever loving another
100% Unironically
I teared up at the end and now Pro-life too
What did it for you? For me it was Brincess Beach
