The truth is there are growing rates of lactose intolerance among Caucasians as milk drinking has fallen out of frequency but for the most part many cultures simply never drank it as much so the tolerance never developed and the opposite happened.

remember hearing about this in a history class once. it's basically evolution; europeans (which basically may as well just mean white people) were the only people to really cultivate and drink milk past a young age for centuries so they're the only ones that got past developing lactose intolerance. of course this carried over to the US when they got on the mayflower and shit like that. I'm no scientist but I'd assume given another couple hundred years of regular milk consumption the rest of the world will develop that same lack of lactose intolerance (on average, of course some people get it anyway regardless of race.)
