How would YOU make an SCP game?

How would YOU make an SCP game?

with lots of love and coom

My microphone doesn't work for this game and it pisses me off.

>love and coom
what did you mean by this?

That’s a hard one. I would just continue what containment breach did with a set number of scps and having to deal with them.

I would make a Delta Green game instead because it's a better setting than SCP.

>cut out the world-ending SCPs.
>pick ones you can reasonably fight back.
>go heavy in exploration and lore (personally my favorite parts of SCP)
>no RPG elements

Kinda like xcom but with a much bigger focus on base building and long term strategy.

This but make it based around a tactical team

Just make SCP:CB faithfully in a new engine. Make it longer, give it more horror-oriented SCPs and focus on sound design and the unpredictability of it.

Or a random field agent.

Itd just be a AAA version of Secret Laboratory. All of the SCP ges we have now wouldve been amazing if they had ~1000000 in funding.

Field agents are basically detectives.

Stop trying to make capeshit-tier crossovers with 20+ popular objects crammed into one game.
Pick one or two good environmental SCPs like one of the maze or alt dimension ones and make it into a videogame. That is all.

like that gayme phasmophobia except with SCPs and you got guns

its the secret to making any good game.

Rip off X-COM, you're a splinter branch of the Foundation given some cash and resources to start a base. You get to assemble your workforce and armed squads to capture or kill stray anomalies in different parts of the world.
Key mechanic would be a relationship system though, with your branch of the Foundation having the option to become great allies or mortal enemies to different Groups of Interest for new benefits and challenges. Pleasing one faction will aggravate enemies of that faction.
Humor the Foundation, get increased funding and defensive research buffs. Turn against them, and face Foundation raids trying to reclaim rouge property and the Unusual Incidents Unit won't like you either. But the Global Occult Coalition and the Chaos Insurgency like it when you mess with the Foundation and lend their support, offering some funding of their own and benefits to offensive skills and research, sometimes even manpower to recruit to your workforce.
Become allies with the Factory, piss off Wondertainment. Humor the Sarkics, the Church of the Broken God will come knocking, etc.

isnt cum just the happy love cream so your just using extra love?

Just take popular objects that aren't mary sues and put them together.

Its a bit different but essentially yes

how is it a bit differnt

protag is part of mobile task force
can kill anyone or ally with anyone
your standard "oh shit everything is going south" kinda thing, task is to wipe out anyone involved
>the more survivors you kill (d class or scientists) the more they try to avoid you which causes you to lose potential helpers or important intel on whats happening in the base or where important things are
>the more you ally the more intel and support you get (allied npcs will occasionally scavenge around to give you shit)
>you can befriend that one scp thats an animated riot body armor with no person in it
>you can befriend that frog girl scp

SCP containment breach had the right idea. The problem with that game was that they eventually lost interest and stopped development, or maybe they're still working but the updates are meaningless. Too much focus on the popular SCPs and just being the blinky statue simulator.
I'd just add more content and the more money I earn from the sales the more people I hire so I can make more content faster.

Failing that I would make SCP into some kind of a top down roguelike. It would give a lot more freedom to add whatever SCP you want.

You'll learn in time. I hope todays lesson has put you on the right path.

what are you talking about? I am not useing my seed for video games

Favourite SCPs?
For is 2030 and 4666

I think the only SCP-like games I remember are Containment Breach, Secret Laboratory, the stairs, the IKEA game and Lobotomy Corp

honestly what other anons have said, stop making games about the big popular ones and make games about some of the more interesting ones tht don't get much attention
there can be no "single" scp game, when you try to cram too many into one game it becomes messy because every SCP is so specific and works so differently
better to pick one (or a very very small handful) and make a refined game about that

Was gonna say this.
Investigate strange events, confirm anomaly, SURVIVE said anomaly, report anomaly, continue surviving anomaly until the MTFs or you can get to safety on your own.

You can even play with the concept even further in the field, make multiple walkthroughs through different perspectives: SCP agent going hard on keeping the masquerade, GOC agent playing similarly but more ready to say fuck it and also sanctioned magic, CI agent who doesn't give a fuck about the normals but still has somewhat behave so the previous two factions don't team up on his ass, Serpent's hand hippie trying to trip up everyone else and help the anomaly, and Nightmare mode UIU agent armed with a gun and a car.
