It was alright. I used to play it a lot a couple years ago with my friends mainly because it was the only major crossplay game out. I can't keep up with the zoomers and their ADHD building anymore so I gave up.

It's just incredibly overhyped and the fanbase is almost entirely children because it's free and on consoles. Not worth it.

I enjoyed it for the first 3 weeks but my ADHD addled brain and friends with the attention spans of fleas meant I've never been back to it.

Like we were consistently winning in the first couple weeks and it seemed boring. I guess it might be more fun now that people know more, but I remember the meta to win basically being:

1) Camp in a retarded location while talking to your buddies about the FemC's ass and tiddies
2) Pop out at the last second and headshot the last team in a 25 second gunbattle

Has the meta improved or is the winning move still not to play?

the whole point is to play it on your phone when you're not at your usual setup where you can play whatever you want.

People definitely learnt how to build so hiding isn't the most optimal strat. You can still do it but the new map is set up where you'll end up having to engage more often
