There's just something about star wars games, bros
There's just something about star wars games, bros
There's something about republic commando
There's just something about KOTOR twi'leks
A shame we haven't had a good one in many, many, years.
t. Hasn't played VR squadrons
Star Wars hasn't been good in over a decade in any form of media.
The T-65 X-Wing is the fighter that killed the Death Star.
It's almost perfect balance of speed, maneuverability, and defensive shields makes this the fighter of choice for Rouge Squadron. Except for when the mission profile disallows it.
I swear Star Wars is just wired differently in my head compared to most people.
I see all this vitriol and hatred towards the franchise and I don't understand it at all. I couldn't possibly feel that way because at the end of the day I see a picture of Darth Vader and think "cool, darth vader". I can't even imagine it giving me a feeling of resentment. This goes for all eras by the way, Disney and otherwise.
Maybe I'm just a consoomer, or on the other hand maybe I don't take it as seriously as everybody else? I dunno man I just really like star wars
>flying game without Defenders or Clone ships
>good
uh... yeah, that'll be a no thanks from me, friend
>Maybe I'm just a consoomer
Unfortunately for you you're a dumb shit fanboy for Star Wars. No standards, all consumption. The type of person who looks at a PS5 and thinks "pretty good"
I know this is bait but there are people who genuinely think and type like this and whats worse is they post on this site on an hourly basis.
Im not interested in the PS5 but yeah I guess so. I just like things that I like
Not bait. I just like star wars and haven't been given a good enough reason as to why I shouldnt to change my mind
That isn't to say I enjoy every star wars project by the way. I was let down by the sequel trilogy and Mandalorian too but they never filled me with rage like it did to Zig Forums posters
>Clone ships
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
LAUGH AT THE PREQUEL FAG BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Don't even bother there is a bunch of sore losers that had to take it with someone or something in this board is sw.
What, you mean how shitty they all are? I mean there's been some gems over the years but that's the law of probability mostly. If you're shitting out a dozen games a year for 30+ years a few of em have to be good.
Crybaby
>pretending to hate the prequel aesthetic
That'll be a yikes second coming from me, pal
then you don't like star wars, you just like cool shit.
and there's nothing wrong with that. modern internet has completely fucked up the concept of 'fandom'. now you just have to enjoy watching a movie to be considered a fan, or even just be vaguely familiar with the story in question. like I've played a fair amount of dark souls, I enjoyed that game a lot, but I wouldn't say I'm a fan. I don't know shit about the lore aside from random things I've picked up and I wouldn't really give a shit if they never made another dark souls game. saying you were a fan used to mean something, then anything resembling gatekeeping became problematic and if you don't accept radical changes to make a story appeal to everyone you're toxic.
I still can't believe EA just abandoned BF2 when it was just getting decent. And now they're all hands on deck for BattleField 6 which I figure will flop like V
Your logic boils down to "you have to like something so much that you loop back around and hate it to be considered a fan"
I don't know if I agree with that.
this is what sucks. They actually fixed BF2 and were actually doing cool things to the game and then boom, they pull out.
Worst part is that they'll probably never make a sequel because of how poisoned the brand became when it first released.
>"you have to like something so much that you loop back around and hate it to be considered a fan"
Only if you consider the OT, the prequels, and disney wars to be all the same thing, which they're clearly not. The name on the box means nothing. In order to be a fan you have to like the thing for reasons, and those reasons can always be destroyed in some dogshit abortion that (((they))) pretend is a sequel. This is why gatekeeping is beneficial, because it allows the preservation of quality content by fans who collectively agree on what is canon. And that hopefully leads to others discovering the thing and becoming genuine fans of it. No matter how much (((they))) push the narrative of fandoms being toxic and horrible for gatekeeping and hating the new shit, all those new movies aren't selling toys. Young kids don't give a fuck about nu-wars. And if they do become fans of star wars, it'll be because they watched the de-specialized OT, or even watched the prequels/TCW, or played one of the good old video games recommended by a true fan. That's how these stories stay popular, not by casualization, but by giving the reins to the people who care the most.
They definitely will make a sequel. People to this day beg them to make more updates to 2. There's a demand.
If they thought the brand was poisoned outright they wouldn't have continued with updates after the drama in the first place
This is the most Zig Forums post I've ever read in my entire life
I love the ST and Resistance but HATE AND DESPISE the OT so that means I'm just as much of a hardcore fan as you are?
Damn bro you came so close to having a good point and then it just devolved into more "deh sequels bad but prequels good upvotes to the left"
Kek. Only Zig Forums would ever think children are watching the fucking hammy despecialized editions and not the ST
BF2's gameplay was broken from the top down. Star cards were horrible, heroes are just fucking annoying, gunplay's craptacular, and the damn movement is worthless. Literally all they had to do was copy Battlefield.
I'll believe you're a fan, but you're not a fan of 'star wars', which is the OT and possibly the prequels/TCW.
The prequels are not good.
What a convoluted way to say "the sequels aren't real star wars"
You wasted your wall of text on something that can be found in a youtube comments section
