Sure bud, now post some Angela

AoE2 Definitive Edition was the perfect remake
so good that all the competitivefags moved to it instead of staying with the old version

AoE2 is basically the Street Fighter II of RTS games, for all the good and bad reasons.

I played them demo. Very cool.
I've been intending to pick it up. Did I read about a hard mode update?

Fuck off shill. Game is mediocre.

Trials of Mana Remake is unironically better than FF7R

Hard more is there to be picked when starting a NG, not sure if it was added later through an update.

played 1 hour and uninstalled
great game shill

There's only one Zig Forums approved waifu in this game mate

Meant for

Yeah, I liked it a lot and was really surprised since SD3 is still one of my favorites. Threads when it released were great. Now it's just full of waifufags, which most of the time I don't mind, but the ones remaining are kind of annoying.

As a remake yeah, it’s a lot more faithful, but as a game FF7R has a lot better gameplay and story

I bought both games and FFVIIr is vastly superior. Not only it is more fun to play, it is also way more interesting, character wise it is much better, the soundtrack is way better and it is only the beginning.

Trials of mana only achievement is managing to keep a snes game intact. Gameplay gets boring after 15 minutes after class changing, soundtrack is worse than the original, graphics are ok, story is ultra cringe (as always, but the original is a snes game and has all the snes vibe, thing that could have been improved)

At least they tried, but it is pretty mediocre.

yep. it is far better than 7R.
if only the 7R devs used their massive budget to do something similar but with much better graphics and voice acting.

Agreed, it's the best

It does a lot of things right but I think the combat feels floaty and unsatisfying. Every attack feels like you are hitting or being hit by a wet noodle.

I loved playing as the midget. Made me appreciate being a smol character taking on big challenges

I loved this remake so much. FF7R left a bad taste in my mouth with how many unnecessary changes it made, so it was nice to have a remake that wanted to stay true to its source material. Wild to think that they released back to back.

Just imagine Chrono Trigger with the same treatment.

Is it worth getting the remake if I have the original via the Mana collection?

They added two new difficulty modes and the ability to reset your level at the start of new game +.

It really was a great game. Best remake I've played since Dragon Quest VII 3DS

Absolutely.

Was that recently?

It plays really different. It has a demo so it's easy to try out.

Only bad thing on AoE2DE was the change of voice acting on the original campaigns. New mongolian one is pure shit.

Yeah, about two weeks ago.

Is this game trash on a switch?
I'd prefer to have this game on switch but idk if the downgraded graphics and fps are worth it

Only if you can find it cheap

based

I played the switch version, the only issue I had with it was texture pop in during the start of cutscenes

I picked it up on sale. Regretfully i skipped it for FF7R which i didn't even finish. It's an amazingly faithful remake but with more fun gameplay. Not a fan of the cutesy colorful style and some of the game's origin's datedness shows but it's a great little action JRPG

Soulless 3D vs industry leading 2d. I don’t think so tim

that's fine but have you seen it run on pc to compare?

The game doesn't exactly look amazing so i don't think the switch will struggle with it. I'm gonna guess the switch runs at 30 fps like every other game so that's all you need to take into consideration
