Xbox Series S is WEAKER than Xbox One X

obviously the x1x isn't more powerful than the SS, it just doesn't use the x1x profile for games since it's not a 1 to 1 tflops comparison. they took years to optimize it for the x1x, which is a console severely bottlenecked by its cpu. these things take time and considering the consoles aren't released yet you need to shut your mouth to avoid further embarrassment. if you cared about raw performance you'd get the system that just powers it's way through the bc early road bumps because that's all it is anyway

I was planning to replace my one x with an S. I play shit like fortnite and I recently got crash bandicoot 4. idk but I feel any well made game would run smoothly on the S. pubg looks and performs trash everywhere from what I've seen

So far despite MS making a big deal presentation promising the series S is the EXACT SAME as series X, just at 1440p. We're now seeing that it can be sub 1440p, have lower res textures, have worse framerates, and lack entire feature sets altogether. It's like MS wanted to make a console for those who want to feel like 2nd class citizens. I don't know who this is for. If you are in the toaster class of consumer (myself), you don't spend 300usd on a console plus games plus services. You buy a pc | parts at flea market or garage sales, or get handmedowns from your friends|family, or salvage from the trash and then either pirate, beg for keys, or just wait for massive discounts on steam sales. No one reasonable would buy this thing. It seems like such a half baked idea, so I fully expect it to sell 800million units and completely ruin the industry...
