What the fuck was her problem?
What the fuck was her problem?
Babe it's time for your 4 p.m. clock flattening
She was stuck in a shitty game
Despite the Rinoa/Ultimecia theory, what was her reasoning for being a genocidal cunt?
Sorry buddy gotta buy the Final Fantasy Ultimania Archive Volume 2 for $40 if you want to understand important plot details like villain motivation
Time
Paizuri
She knew she was destined to be defeated by SeeD, so she tried to compress time to stop it from happening and inadvertently played herself.
SneeD
just beat ff8 yesterday
I had completely forgotten about the laguna part in the ending scene
also what's another good ps1 rpg to emulate
The rest of the PS1 Final Fantasys are amazing. Beat FF8 again today as well. The Laguna part catches me off guard every single time.
bruh I was in 4th grade when I played this game. I remember licking the tv screen while wanking it to her pixilated tiddies
this game is autistic
most people hate it but I really enjoyed Beyond the Beyond
Ultimecia isn't the big villain in the game, silly.
It's Zell. Zell causes all of the ills in FF8. Let's face it, it's entirely his fault a fucking world war breaks out when he realises Seifer, holding quite possibly another fake president hostage, is from Balamb Garden. He lets loose that mercenaries have been contracted on the fucking president. Zell is the biggest retard in FF. It's not even close. Everything he did catalysed the dystopian bullshit society to come, and the advent of Ultimecia's creation; when do we first hear of the sorceress? After he does that shit.
How did you turn out buddy? Life doing good for you?
you gotta put in the work if you want them hot dogs
She was mistreated as a little girl for being a sorceress, so when she grew up she became an awful tyrant obsessed with the idea of being absolutely safe. She heard a prophecy about how she was destined to be killed by SeeD, and in her insanity she decided the only way to stop it was to travel back to the beginning of the universe and use her time/space magic to become a singularity, the only thing in existence. To do this required her to double time travel back in the past, and ironically the actions she took after that first time travel (possessing other sorceresses and doing monstrous things looking for Ellone who combined with her own powers could send her all the way back) inspired the hatred of sorceresses that caused her to suffer as a child.
I've finished ff7 plenty and I've tried to play 9 so many times but the constant drag back down to low levels with the party swapping kills it for me every time. That same repetition in 6 also ruins that game for me.
I'll add it to my list of stuff thanks.
But WHHHHHYYYYY.
>inspired the hatred of sorceresses that caused her to suffer as a child.
I don't think that's true.
She goes back to give her powers to Edea but sorceresses were hunted since their creation just for being powerful.
Try Legend of dragoon. Good shit.
>when do we first hear of the sorceress?
prior to that scene you walk passed the tv screen with adel's radio wave messages on it
I actually just started that last night after finishing 8.
Wasn't sure if I wanted to play through that first, jade cocoon or tombi.
In general, but before that point nobody really hated sorceresses actively except Ester (because of Adel.) Galbania was pretty fucking on board with having a sorceress as their leader.
Alundra, Vandal Hearts 1, Legacy of Kain Blood Omen.
>Legend of dragoon.
You just had to remind me didn't you. I ain't one of those Soulfags, but people have to be retarded to not feel something when playing these old games. I don't know why, but there is something about those old games and the way they were designed that playing them makes me feel uplifted. The fact that Sony doesn't create first party studios to continue this legacy or remaster LotD is a crime.
And why do you think that is? By that point, fate had been sealed, and only one path remained, the one where Zell would fuck up politics worldwide with a slip of the tongue.
They should have known better than to let a manlet do things.
Vagrant Story
Galbadia was a pretty minor power before the war and somehow, wasn't really explained, they become really strong after it so they would have wanted their own sorceress to hold on to that.
You're probably right that her actions in possessing edea made it a lot worse for herself though, especially the whole brainwashing an entire city and murdering the president part.
If I had a shit-ton of money I’d fund Square Enix to make FF8 Remake just to hear a newer version of Maybe I’m a Lion and all of the battle themes. Preferably done in the metal/rock style of FF7 Remake.
BOOPAS!
