4 did, people died.
5 was when they went the pussy route with the stealing hearts

Didn't a six year old girl die in Persona 4?

For about five minutes.

The game with the little kid and the dog and a fucking robot for party members?
Everything involving the name Kirijo was silly anime bullshit.
Persona 4 may have a cartoon clowbear but it came across as the more serious game with how comparatively mundane it was.

>LE P3 IS DEPRESSIVE

can this meme die already? only depressive thing is how nothing happens until december. Worst persona. Worst SMT. Worst JRPG EVER.

it was serious in how bad the pacing was if that's what you mean.

That is hilarious because Persona 3 was a mess in terms of tone, no consistency unlike P4. It didn't know what it wanted to be, a serious story or a high school anime adventure while having some edginess to it.

Just play an actual SMT game, or go for Innocent Sin/Eternal Punishment.

>nothing happens for a half a year
>people die
>"oh wait guys, now I know that life is worth living even if we die because x,y,z and I never knew that because I'm a fucking retarded 15 year old"
Babbies's first existential crisis is not a good game, take the nostalgia goggles off.

lmao, ur so mad

>Just play SMT bro
>when Atlus canned SMT to make Persona 5 spin offs
good idea

I feel like its better than P5 in that regard. Almost everything post Kamoshida is paced like a pig cumshot

im only level 17 and on the 4th moon, I should of picked easy right?

There's literally an SMT remaster coming out in two days.

I want Mitsuru to step on me so bad

You don't know what pacing means. No, P3's pacing is fucking horrendous. P5's isn't, though if you wanted to say that no villain makes you want to kick their shit in as much as Kamoshida does, you're right. And I also get why, because you're not dealing with a guy that's constantly fucking messing with you and getting away with it. The stakes are raised too high, too quickly. By the 3rd palace, "fucking around" would mean something like one of the girls getting raped and turned into sex slaves, or one of the guys getting kidnapped and getting their fingers sent to their families.

>Muh gf I met for literally a few days died, makes me a complex character
No. P4 is best standard for modern Persona settings and had the most relatable setting.

You didn't play the game. Junpei was acquainted with Chidori for about three months before her death.

>20 years old game
err, thanks I guess.

20 years later and it's still kino as fuck.

>died
Doesn't she live in FES tho? She lives but forgets who Junpei is.

She only lives if the protagonist encourages Junpei to visit her on a few very specific days. He mentions "when Chidori died" in Episode Aegis, so it's presumably non-canon, but I've heard P4U2 supposedly makes it ambiguous whether Chidori is dead or alive.

>4 did, people died
4's tone was goofy despite all the murders.

OP: Jap (and apparently Western) normies want happy games like their favorite animes.

Persona 5 depresses me the most tho. A girl gets raped and she doesn't really get a happy ending

Hes probably talking about tone not how realistic it is

>literal 80s anime saturday morning trash plot
>rich all powerful comical high school council president + a literal sexbot trying to save the world
>"me dark like dark, thanatos, death!!!"
>perfect setting

Except all of the modern persona games stories are paced equally shit

>makes friends and dies a year later at the young age of 17

Poor Makoto

I want less games that have this happy escapsim slice of life shit too but P3 isn't a good game when it comes to this.

The Calendar system AT LEAST HAS A PURPOSE IN P3 while it's just obnoxiously hokey and just a time management sim. The Calendar in later games sucks ass because it has no point to it other than to force your story progression into a glacial pace. Fuck those days where you just spent time listening to your party members being dumbfucks about the goddamn boat and how to "find" Shido's Palace.

The Persona 3 protagonist doesn't have an ass
