*Is the best mobile game ever made in your path*
seriously, this shit is addicting as fuck
*Is the best mobile game ever made in your path*
i dunno but i played since release and stopped around Ex Structure Masters of Chaos.
KOG every season
almost every new box switched the meta just to be limited after the next banner, rinse and repeat
also i got bored waiting for them to free Cyber Petit Angel from the ban list
I've been playing for years and didn't care much about the pvp, but making new decks and trying different strategies is a lot of fun.
>i dunno but i played since release and stopped around Ex Structure Masters of Chaos.

These statements are hilarious together, because DM has been in the meta since that deck came out. The rest of the meta has been annoyingly stable recently.
i know im just trash at yugioh but pvp is hardly fun for me in this game, tired of running into all the same decks, and meta decks feel so stale. i like to try and creative and try rogue decks but they really dont go very far. you just buy into the very rigid meta or dont succeed. i guess it makes sense but its really not fun. i just play the game to dick around, i may never actually be good at it
OP here, i'm not good at meta and I have been a fan of yugioh since I was a kid.
I just put 1 or 2 cards and then hit "auto-complete deck" to let the game make the best deck around those cards.
according to the stats page, I won 53 pvp duels and all thanks to that auto deck builder.
You’re better off playing Dueling Nexus
I'm guessing you've never made it past Silver or only play Casual.
yeah, best I got is Silver 3 but then again I don't focus too much on pvp
I only duel when there are tasks about it for special items or gems
since when are games that play themselves with grindy gacha dailys against AI fun?
Game sucks. It's run by jews, but it's a Konami game so you knew that. These jews however are incompetent at their job, because it's not expensive to keep up with the meta if you invest once during a stable period and don't spend gems early on shit you don't know if you need. It is, however, extremely expensive to build a lot of petdecks because some archetypes are spread across 3+ different boxes with their key cards possibly being URs, I mean god help you if you want to play like fucking Yusei.dek. All this despite the insane amount of reprints of shitty N/R cards in newer boxes. So you have to hope there's a meta deck you enjoy playing at the time, or else you're slaving away while hoarding gems for actually good cards (or maybe even cards you'd just like) and not shit like some of the "tech" choices they make high rarity.
A lot of the other stuff about the game is nice, though. The music especially is good.
Sure just don't go anywhere near pvp. Whoever in Konami works on this game loves that dogshit 5D's anime so much they only release events themed around it and the only good un-nerfed cards/decks are synchros, even though they just released XYZ like a month ago.
if you don't like to play against AI then play against real players
Speed duels are shit. Rush duels are unironically better.
Yummy stinky feets!
It's way too fucking grindy
i want to fuck sora in his butt hole.
It's awful. Synchros ruin everything
I just hate how some cards and characters are time gated. Also, how the fuck do I unlock Zexal? I came back into it after a long hiatus and I can’t access Zexal. Currently world level 10 with the main world and 10 with DSoD if that makes any difference.
You play any 2 level 4 monsters in the same duel.
how did you miss that when they tell you how to unlock it in the tasks menu?
Are you guys ready for pendulum next year?
Cool for casual play, but terrible for taking it seriously, Hearthstone is more balanced
It's one of the most predatory gacha on the market and the only thing that keeps it from being FGO tiers of greedy is that a pity does exist. It also exacerbates a lot of paper Yugioh's problems instead of fixing them somehow. Unless there was some significant change to the model in the last year, I'm very iffy to recommend this to anybody.
Don't care. Give me Anna and Trains.
Fuck off, nostalgiafag
>pendulum
quick run down?
I'm not up with yugioh after 5d's
Weird, I’ve been running a Bujingi deck for the past twenty or so duels, relying mostly on xyz to win, and still nothing.
The what menu? I just got back in bro. All I do is log in and then buy shit or go duel. I keep getting these tickets but I don’t even know how to spend them.
We'll get another filler world, although I wouldn't be surprised if we got VRAINS before Arc-V
Is this game still fun if i want to play casual? Can i play a theme deck or is it only like 20 cards or something?
Legacy of the duelist is great. This gacha gimped shit can fuck right off
Reminder.
Cards have a a number from 1 to 10. You put them on both sides of the fields in your magic/trap zone. Once per turn, you can special summon as many monsters as you want from your hand or extra deck(except fusions, xyz, links, and synchro) that has a level between the two numbers. If a monster that has a number(called a pendulum scale) is destroyed, it goes to the extra deck instead. In short, set up two numbers, summon as many monsters as possible with leveled between those two numbers, use those monsters for extra deck summons, do it all again next turn.
It's not nearly as bad as people like to think it is. TL;DR is:
They can be played as continuous spells (In your outer two backrow zones) or as monsters
They go face up on the extra deck when they leave the field
You can "Pendulum Summon" any number of monsters from your hand with levels in between the two scales set in your pendulum zones
Yes, it's easy to make theme decks too
I'm playing the enhanced version and it's not really fun.
the music is garbage beyond words and everything is so slow
Anime RP decks are incredibly expensive to build for how bad they are. You can just slam generically good cards together and beat NPC's with 0 effort.
it is not it WAS at one point the undisputed best mobile game Konami left the devs alone at the start but once they realized people from real life were paying the same amount in game for decks the massively revamped there free to play mechanics so you have no choice now but to drop 600+ every few months to complete a deck dont fall for the shilling
t.ex player
Shit, I gotta explore the menu more.
Monsters with secondary effects that are activated by placing them in the spell/trap zones. They are not considered monsters on the field in this state, but rather "pendulum scales". Their Pendulum effect is active and they set the borders of the Pendulum scale based on the number next to their effect. If you have 2 Pendulum monsters active in the spell/trap zones, you can special summon any number of monsters from your hand/elsewhere if stated whose levels are in between the pendulum scales. E.g. One pendulum monster has 1 pendulum scale, and the other has 5, you can summon all monsters in your hand that are level 2-4
the meta is just farming like 10 tech cards, doesn't really matter which ones, then insert those in whatever archetype you like the pictures of the best
The part I never understood is whether Pendulum monsters can ever end up in the GY.
Eat shit zoomer
They only go to the extra deck if they would go from the field to the GY.
So hand/deck to the GY still works
It's been over a decade, grow up or fuck off.
I like buster blader and duel links can make a semi decent buster blader deck compared to the TCG so I like it for that.
so one can summon 5 level 5+ monsters in 1 turn?
how is this balanced?
the other player don't have much chance to win if he didn't draw pendulum cards then?
