I don't think I'll ever be able to penetrate this series. I spent 20 hours in the prologue of Trails in the Sky 1 before quitting. I'm super anal about fully completing games I play and there's just too much there.
Part of why I quit might be cause I was playing on a pc which I can't stand, when it comes to current consoles I'll give it another chance.

That would be the mainline Summon night games. 1-4 are connected timeline wise like trails and 5 and 6 are the only ones in english. They're translated by design works as well so it's crap and the 6th game is a crossover game of the previous 5 games.
