I noticed this trend here on Zig Forums and other boards where, the moment someone says they found a game hard, someone else will immediately pop up to say
>LMAO no. THIS game was waaaaay harder
And then another user will appear and go
>Fucking manchild can't even beat X game, go play Y game for a challenge
And so on and so forth. Is it natural for people to be afraid of admitting they had a hard time with a game? Because it's incredibly fast how they go on threads to say that the game they played was a breeze for them.

LMAO no. Zig Forums is waaaaay more shitposty

For anyone used to playing actually hard unforgiving games, pretty much any game these days is piss easy.
And many of the people who frequent Zig Forums and can pride themselves on mastering mostly useless skills, it's a great opportunity to shit on others, in an attempt to satisfy their inner shortcomings at other aspects of life.

TL;DR: GIT GUD

>TL;DR: GIT GUD
For your information, i've beaten Kirby Epic Yarn in one run without ever dying B)

>pride themselves on mastering mostly useless skills
This entire statement. Zig Forums prideful shitposting is always ALWAYS themed around "me better than you, me no die, me good, you suck" "proof? pfffft I don't need proof, you suck lmao". /ic/ and /3/ pridefags are dangerous bro, you post your work even if you're fucking Sakimichan and some fag will redline every ittybitty mistake and write an essay on why you'll never make it.
It's almost refreshing to talk with know-it-all idiots on Zig Forums sometimes.

there isn't much skill involved in beating a computer

Cute mayday user
Have a cute Tila

thank C:

Try beating a computer in chess

I knew someone was gonna reply chess, someone just has to. That's still just chess. My point for other games still stand

define skill

go away malaysian
this is strictly a aviation board, get out now punk

brain feel good when brain think brain better than other brain

what does the malaysian have to do eith this?

OP is CUTE

lol, i see you never been on /s4s/ before

a player can adapt. Computer not so much. When you figure out what the computer does that's it. If you're against a good player you'll both have to try to adapt on the fly to not be outsmarted by the other one

>uh no naht dat!
>haha I predigd me rite den!
Kill yourself ape

Chess is literally only one example, pretty marginal compared to all other games there are

>I noticed this trend here on Zig Forums
Like 10y ago people started complaining about casuals and how they ruin all games on Zig Forums, 7th gen they started to pander to broaden their audiences and pander to casuals with games that almost played themselves so people were rightfully mad at that shit.

I think that ultimately spawned the "if any game is hard for you, you suck" mentality.
That's also why many people enjoyed Dark Souls so much, cause it was a refreshing experience with its difficulty.

That said, it often is shitposting but more often than not people that complain about X game being hard on Zig Forums they are just dumb and play the game wrong.

Example, all the faggots that played Mario 64 saying the controls are shit and it's hard but not even knowing about that flick jump that is broken af in that game.
Another example is DaS newbies that can't kill Gargoyles cuz they didn't upgrade their weapons and shit like that.

*7th gen they started to broaden their audiences and pander to casuals
ups sry

I think that's something that can be spun out to more than just game difficulty OP. People on here in general will jump at the opportunity to attack any perceived weakness or display their own superiority.
That's why I take the opportunity when appropriate to display my own weaknesses. I think it can throw people for a loop.

define skill.
>a player can adapt. Computer not so much.
So what? A dart board can't adapt so by whatever your definition of skill is, throwing darts takes no skill?

okay but in games like that you compete against other players to get a better score. There's no ai involved in such a game

>but in games like that you compete against other players to get a better score
So if I hit a bullseye when playing against another person it takes skill but I hit a bullseye when I'm practicing by myself it takes no skill?
>There's no ai involved in such a game
Why are you hung up on AI or other players when talking about skill? if you don't have a clear definition for what you believe skill is that's fine, just think about it some more

user, do you think it's possible for a shmup to be difficult without competing against human players?

shilling rock good EDM bad vidya

No I meant that if you play darts for example, you don't battle anyone to throw the dart. You compete to get the higher score, which is a set score no matter done by ai or another player.
What I was thinking about in my original comment was fighting enemies or players in action games, shooting games, fighting games or strategy games as examples. If you compete to get a better score than the other one without being able to affect the performance of the other player (by legal means), then it's not much of a difference against ai or a player.

Did the popular Zig Forums opinion on NSR change already?

yes, not enought porn, NON GAY porn.

Yep. It's all just a dick waving contest on boards filled with insecure people.

congratulation, the jannies will now kill this thread because they might mistake the round things for nipple
>filename
you must have more user dont you?

Eh, depends on the game and the nature of the complaint.

When it comes to how obtuse a mechanic or suchlike is, then the e-dicks come out to play. Or any situation/scenario in a videogame that can be easily beaten by knowing some obtuse mechanic or build from the get-go.

But if a game is just a plain motherfucker to play, people are generally pretty alright with that. You can complain about Super Hexagon all you want.

>never finished the game
Its literaly
>sellouts bad
>passion good

>Sakimichan

All of her females are the same build with different details and her males look grotesque, barely human. She’s the same as every other hyper-realistic artist where it’s just garbage anatomy dressed up with rendering.
