My friend works at CDPR, so take this with a grain of salt, but the game isn't in the best of states and they are talking about scrapping the last gen versions of the game along with The Stadia version and just releasing it on Series S, Series X, PS5, and PC and delaying the game out to April 2021
That would be hilarious, I already refunded and will find an alternative method of getting this singleplayer only game.
Brandon Fisher
I don't understand the insistence on releasing for current gen in the first place, it's clearly outgrown it and both MS and snoy should be happy to have a killer app like this to sell their new consoles considering there's absolutely nothing else to buy them for.
Oliver Nguyen
i though stadia is just streaming not console
Alexander Butler
$$$
Easton Phillips
>scrapping the platforms where by far most of your customers will be Yeah user I believe you
Isn’t the series S pretty much just an Xbox One?
Liam Reed
>I don't understand the insistence on releasing for current gen in the first place Maybe because 200 million people have a PS4 or Xbox One, and nobody has a next gen console
This game literally broke this board, huh. Never seen this much schizo-tier shitposting about any other game pretty much ever
Leo Powell
Didn't cb astarted as last gen project? (xbo, ps4). Why would the cancel last gen version if most work for them is already done?
Benjamin Sanchez
Studia uses custom software/hardware, so it takes some to port to
Easton Gray
>play destiny 2 on my original xbox one >its absolutely stunning, every moment looks like a framed image, amazing work by the artists at the least. tell me again does cyber punk look better than d2?
That's bullshit but it would be hilarious to see the fanboys trying to defend that
Leo Lee
>relatively small playable sections of the map surrounded by huge scenic matte paintings d2 looks good but let's not forget how segmented the levels are
Jose Sanchez
won't they lose a ton of money if they do that? not just on all the refunds they'll have to give but also for not respecting the stadia contract? I don't really know how the legal matters work but this sounds like very bad news for cdpr if true.
Chase Mitchell
Some levels are fucking huge, taking quite a few minutes to run across if you dont use your bike the map looks small but the left screen shot is what the red lines vision is off. You cant see the maps are tiny and segmented when the EDZ is actually pretty big and seamless.
It's seamless with a good enough SSD but if you look at the map it's not one contiguous area but a bunch of small areas segmented by loading corridors
Hudson Hernandez
That would be based
Nolan Perez
except when you play it you can zooooom with your jet bike through every single part without loading, if it uses loading corriders that take only 3 seconds to pass through I could not care less. Tricks to save memory are GOOD and if they dont feel noticable then whats the problem? Devs getting ambitious with next gen and yet still selling on the last gen consoles.
Jacob Torres
developing for so many platforms was a mistake...
Michael Cook
my friend also works at CDPR he says the game isnt finished and its being released without many core features and also anyone that bought it is a nigger
Luke King
Imagine the next gen coming out and not focusing on being a launch title multi plat guranteed to sell 4 million on each platform due to the hype for the game and new consoles needing a killer game to play. Plus pc or whatever
Kayden Johnson
you can zoom around but maps but the game can freeze your character in place if it hasn't loaded the next area fast enough, pretty much the biggest open world zone is the dreaming city and even that's basically 2 halves of a map split by some winding corridors it's especially noticeable on the moon, though that one was already designed for even more corridor loading back in d1
