Is it worth $10? How is the plot?
Is it worth $10? How is the plot?
The problem with the game is majority of the content feels like forgettable filler and busywork, lots of chores. This is when they were still trying to figure out the open world formula.
It's literally game of the year, of course it's good
Look, only and I mean ONLY play this game if you're a massive lorefag. Compared to its predecessors, it sucks and it's too long to play in a rushed setting. Say what you will about DA2, at least you can rush through it fairly quickly.
>its bad because you cant rush it
literally what
It's fucking dogshit. It's not worth the time spent to play it.
I say this as someone whose literal favorite game is the Mass Effect trilogy. Do not play Inquisition.
Yeah, that's a fair price.
It's basically a single-player MMO, so lots of tedious resource farming and collect X Nug Butts (where did that fucking obsidian vein go, I know I saw it somewhere in the hinterlands) But the story is not terrible and despite some companions being obnoxious quip machines you do have a few down to earth choices.
I can barely remember a thing about this game except that you had a plot device in your hand to close oblivion gates with.
Definitely worth it, get the goty edition. Don't roll a melee though if you want insane damage roll archer.
To be fair at least these gates stay shut
>Is it worth $10?
>Nu-Bioware
>Nu-RPG
>EA
Not even worth pirating.
Oh and do the 3 riddles but for gods sake don't collect the splinters.
To expand: This is literally the most dick-sucking piece of fiction I have ever suffered through.
I am not exaggerating much when I say that pretty much every third line out of your companions mouths is "Wow, Inquisitor, you're so amazing I just made a mess in my pants."
Within 15 minutes of starting the game, a character tells you you're the only hope to save the world.
Within 30 minutes of starting the game, a character gets down on his hands and knees and bows down to you.
This kind of fantasy can be okay if it's fun or sexy. But this game isn't, at all. It's just insufferable. The main character is a nobody, a nothing.
I bought it
It's not even worth your time. Get something else.
No.
Terrible.
It's bad when the "anti-rush" mechanics are literally Farmville timers.
refund it and spend that $10 on something worthwhile, like literally anything else
>Bioware called it "Inquisition" because it sounded cool, not because it made any sense in the context of the story
Still gives me a sensible chuckle
and worst of all, for a game focused so much around fucking, it doesn't let you fuck the dwarf qt
If I enjoyed 2 will I enjoy Inquisition? I was a hopeless NEET while I played 2, will that affect my enjoyment?
It's worse than 2 in almost every way. And yes I'm aware how much even DA2 was a step down from origins.
The dlc is really good but prepare for a huge difficulty jump from the main game of your playing on nightmare
Fuck wrath of hakkon
Not even what I said.
It's not worth even if someone pays you to play it. It's really bad. You're better off spending your time doing something else.
Yeah it’s better than 2
Yes, so you can F Cassandra and Sera.
This was the first game that made me rage at having an elf betray me. Pathfinder Kingmaker was the 2nd. Next game where an elf betrays me, I'm cutting his head off. Luckily, it is only male elf betrayal.
#AllMaleElvesAreBad
It’s fun if you really want to just immerse yourself for 100 hours
Not really.
Forgettable as fuck.
Just pirate it and try it out. It feels like a single player mmo. And the story is really badly written too
I played DA:O 4 times, and skipped 2. I kept trying this but couldn't get into it. It does not have tactical camera and the gameplay just feels like it was designed to be played like your bog standard RPG rather than pause>plan out moves>resume etc. IDK; someone sell me on it. Are the characters and story as good as DA:O(assuming DA:O was any good, it's the standard I'm measuring by in this circumstance)?
I honestly feel like the gameplay is a straight downgrade and I cannot put my finger on why, slogged through all the way to that first big bossfight at the rift thingy; I'm just not enjoying the combat for some reason
legitimately finished it twice and only remember the final boss sequence because it bugged out on me so hard i had to jump to my death many many times trying to trigger a cutscene
then the next trigger after that wouldnt go so youd just hang for a while with someone tposing whos supposed to be talking to you
i assume thats fixed but the only other memorable part was the environments are pretty well done
I vaguely remember I played an arcane warrior and had to keep smashing the 1 key to do my basic attack because it couldn't be autocast.
Other than that I'm drawing blanks in regard to the story or characters. None of it really stuck.
10 bucks is about right for this game, desu
