>that input lag
>publicly refuse to fix it
What the fuck were they thinking?
Alien Isolation
Stop playing at 20fps user.
Input lag?
More like chin up fag
Please show me the potato you're playing on.
deactivate vsync ingame, enable adaptive sync (nvidia) or enhanced sync (AMD) via your GPU control panel.
Biggest problem was how long it was. The game outstayed its welcome by about 3-5 hours.
This, any game where you're chased around by an unkillable monster should end before you figure out the mechanics and dab on the shitty AI.
I just bought this for switch. Just started a little over a half hour ago and it performs way better than expected.
The switch conversion is supposed to be pretty good, though i've not tried it myself.
This.
facehuggers trigger me more than the ayylmao proper
Can't have enough of a good thing in my mind.
Alien Isolation is the worst example you could've picked for a "shitty AI in videogames". That said, I don't see the problem with players "dabing" on the AI. They learned to git gud and now play more efficiently. I know how to handle the Alien, but I still replay this game now and then. It's still a pretty decent stealth game.
Second best version after PC.
Those are some cheeky lil' bastards. It's unfortunate they're nowhere near as complex as the full-grown Xeno, but eh, they're just Facehuggers after all.
why the fuck would you even care about input lag in alien isolation
Just finished replaying yesterday.
Still has a lot of bugs that seem tied to playing at 144hz. Every time after a cutscene all the animations in the game would slow down to half speed until I saved and reloaded and the flamethrower reload was always silent.
Also I forgot how underwhelming that ending was.
Just started playing it for the switch and the input lag is god awful. What the hell are you guys talking about? Does it get better later on or something? It’s almost two fucking seconds for me.
This. Is there a fix for it or something? I keep hearing the Switch version is the best one, but it has a fuck ton of input lag and looks kinda blurry.
I shudder to imagine what the PS4 and Xbox versions play and look like...
cutscenes run at 30fps, that might be part of the problem.
Based
This. How has no one mentioned this? Is there not a fix for it?
Agreed, should've been shorter and $40.
How is the switch version better than PS4 or Xbox performance wise?
I want to play this. idk if I just got filtered or what, but I'm still super early - down in the medbay. I was super cautious and tense, and died a couple of times, but eventually I just got pissed off at the alien. Tried to duke it, work out its pattern, whatever but after dying that handful of times, I no longer fear it and that atmosphere is just gone.
>alien isolation
>2014
>minimum req. video card is GT 430
Are you running it on one of those form factor PCs that you see in offices or something?
Nintendo Switch. The supposed “best version” of the game behind PC.
Nothing on switch is "the best version"
Breath of the Wild.
>more game bad
idgi
>CEMU
Also noticed how slow it feels moving the camera around, yet the motion aiming is perfect. If the camera lag was a conscious decision, it's a pretty awful one
Looks cool
>switch
found the issue
why the hell would you play this on a fucking switch and not pc
