Yeah I got it on release. Sunk maybe 6 hours into it. Fun roguelike. Plus they release updates pretty frequently.

It's ok so far, but since it is on gog...well you know.

I played the demo and bought it in early access, but I'm waiting for the full release before I play it properly.

It gets a bit boring once you realize what event choices do what and that the game is basically about gambling what events you get but nonetheless it's a very impressive game being made by just one guy

It's pretty great with each story having unique mechanics and choices. So far, it's great for a run or two but it's clearly a WIP. It would be nice if there were stories uniquely linked to each old god.

Is it ever really worth taking a random fight? Most the time it just gives you some pitiful exp and you lose health.

It's generic at best. You open a door, you defeat the old god. That's it.

Reminds me of the boardgames Eldritch Horror or Mansions of Madness. I think spells should be rebalanced to be like events, where you roll values and get effects based on rolls. Needs more Otherworld stuff too.

If you have strong weapon it's worth it. You can find items or some shit. Extra XP is okay. Random fight are rare enough in this game.

What's new in the latest update? Last one I've played was the plants.

That one, I like the priest but I haven't been able to unlock the plant god.

Early game, sure. As long as you have a weapon like the Baseball Bat.

There's a lot of content and it's getting updated pretty frequently, so I'd say yes. There's still some pretty rough bits but it's gotten a lot more polished with recent updates. Not to mention the big Halloween update right around the corner

I don't think game gonna change much after leaving early acsess. It's pretty good in current state. Some runs are kinda repetitive and special rules are not huge gamechanger. But go for it.

There's a lot of content from the get-go but it gets pretty repetitive once you've done them all.

The game will be perfect when mod tools are there for the community to create levels. I'm not joking it'll completely push the game from a special little thing to the GOTY.
