>Bosses don't belong in shooters they're always bullet sponges that take forever to kill and get boring not even half way into the fight

Call of Duty is fun.

fan service in games is shit

I remember being good at Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Nowadays, not so much. I imagine it has something to do with the way they make lobbies nowadays by putting everyone on your skill level against you.

Ocarina of Time is the worst Zelda game.
Phantom Hourglass is the BEST Zelda game.

It's because the matchmaking in the new games tries to force a 1:1 win/loss ratio. If you have 3 more wins than losses, the game will put you against insanely good opponents for the next 3 games to balance it out.

Among Us is an absolute shit Newgrounds-tier game that is boosted entirely by streamer faggots who finally found a game where they can make super lazy content in with other streamers and boost each other, while normies with no self-respect meme themselves into thinking the game is good "with friends" when it's the most barebones version of any mafia game in existence and requires external communicator like Discord to be playable.

Oblivion is the best game in the TES series.

People who complain about the "casualization" of Monster Hunter never played the older games and just want Zig Forums street cred

ass but no tits >>> tits but no ass

Cyberpunk 2077 is still a good game

I have a lot of them
>Skyrim is actually good.
>Dark Souls 2 is good but still worse than Dark Souls 1 and 3.
>Fortnite and Undertale are unironically good Zig Forums just hates them because of the fanbase.
>Nu Fire Emblem is good (except for fates)
>Persona 5R is the best JRPG of the past 5 years. Second best is Ys 8
>XBC2 is a good game trapped inside of a shit game
>Despite what Zig Forums says 99% of the people here are going to eventually buy Cyberpunk 2077 (see pokemon sw/sh)
>Death Stranding was a 4/5 and if it had been a little more refined would've easily been a GOTY when it came out.
>BOTW is a good game and the durability is fine (but yeah master sword and other relics have no reason being breakable)

I thought that was just a fact tho

I agree with this. It seems like a lot of times with bosses in shooters. They aren't hard because they are a difficult boss. They are hard because
>They have a lot of health

Yeh but it's still fun if you get 9 people you know in a group call and just have at.

Fast travel, mini maps and always on-screen compass is what ruins most open world games.

Based. Just play ToS or SS13

So what your saying is that if Among Us wasn't popular with streamers it would be good?

Zig Forums is the worst board on Zig Forums

That is true

Then make better bosses nigger

Never understood this design. I somehow feel like things were fairer when you had truly open lobbies where you could get anything from godlike players to team of people completely drooling, but at least having fun running around. Now it feels more like the game is constantly trying to defeat you as soon as it can, with this system.

Dark Souls 3 is the best soulsborne game.

I really REALLY REALLY like video game sex scenes and I wish cero wasn't such a fag so we'd have cinematic japanese sex scenes.

Americans can't pronounce Mario's name correctly

>>Bosses don't belong in shooters they're always bullet sponges that take forever to kill and get boring not even half way into the figh
I somewhat agree, but I think a bigger problem comes from developers not knowing how to design good bosses, let alone good bosses for a shooter game. Western games in general tend to have crappy bosses.

I remember playing against people that I thought were using hacks. It feels terrible to go from a 2:1 KD to a 1:2 KD ratio.

It's fantastic. If you win all the time, it means you are the best. You get to fight and destroy the best dudes the game can offer. I love it.

I recently played Dragon's Dogma for the first time, and i swear you people can not for the life of you can not make good looking pawns.

Souls-like gameplay is just an excuse to make clunky combat to look hardcore

I agree, and I don't understand why it's hated so much. Maybe it's a pvp thing, which I don't participate in.
