I think the gameplay isn't interesting at all, but the demons origins and Eternals story is pretty good actually. Never really gave much of a shit or really cared but they did a good job of making it interesting. I'm actually kind of curious as to what happens next - which is something I literally can't say about any previous doom games.

God is it nice to play a master level without wasting mental space on collectibles and challenges. People rightfully bitch about cutscenes breaking the flow, but progression horseshit is the real kicker, even if they improved it a bit since '16.

The combination of weird ragdolls and the stupid fodder clean up mechanic never fails to make me laugh.

Playing on UV and not dying much at all so far (which is surprising me, I keep having to check I'm actually on UV), but I'm just on the final level so maybe this is where it will bust my balls.
It's still very stressful though, and I doubt I'd do well on Nightmare.
