Is there a wiki for Homebrew apps? I hear there's a half-life port and custom theme app but I'm clueless where to look for those, and all I've really bothered with since hacking mine are installing some .cias and getting Twilightmenu/PKSM up and running so I don't have to take out a loan to play Gen 4 and 5 games nowadays.

Not a wiki but you could try perusing the gbatemp forums for homebrew 3DS apps and ports. The custom theme app that was used/installed in the 3ds.hack.guide site is Anemone, which has direct link/download to 3DS themeplaza site where most of the custom themes are uploaded.

I've honestly played everything I've wanted to play on my hacked 3DS for years already. Like honestly haven't finished any game since the translation of DGS1. Whenever the sequel comes out will probably be the last. I wish I had more games I wanted to play but there are a good amount of titles that I haven't checked out that I know have decent acclaim but I don't know if I want to waste any time on them.
The 3DS killer apps imo are Style Savvy, MonHun 4U/Generations, Pokemon Sun/Moon, Fire Emblem Awakening/Fates and StreetPass. Too bad 3DS is dead in the water and StreetPass isn't a thing on the featureless boring ass Switch.

Just buy a refurb'd N3DS XL from Nintendo's store website. Launch 3DS's have got to be 9 years old at this point, so the age + usage on them (assuming you played the fuck out of it) is going to cause it to degrade.
