It looks pretty but I'm not sure the gameplay looks fun to me, even though I like roguelites.

All of them play pretty much the same games, though I guess you could be wireless too with the quest 2.
If you want recommendations, I'd suggest the g2 coming out soon, the quest 2 (only if you have a facebook account) or the index, nothing else is really worh buying right now over those I'd say, but it's not as if other headsets won't work.

Has anyone tried Jet Island yet?

A friend of mine has, it sounds pretty good.

The graphics look like shit but I sort of love them.

There's space pirate trainer, but that's not an on rails shooter like what you're probably looking for.

I thought this EmuVR thing was gonna be a gimmick but it's actually pretty fucking comfy and I can see myself pouring a lot more hours into it

I installed a bunch of "Unknown Sources" games and it didn't explode yet. I don't see any logical reason they would make it a policy to go after this. Especially since they're trying to grow the number of people on their platform.

Finally got my Index last Sunday, been putting in about two hours of Half Life Alyx a day since then, wish I could play a bit more but I'm still adjusting to motion sickness and such, and I have college and work to worry about still.

Just got to the very start of the Jeff chapter and had to stop because my controllers needed to be recharged.
How much do I have left?

played a couple pirated apks when q1 came out, turned off wifi but idk if that helped or made any difference. i don't wanna risk a ban but it seems like ppl do it with no issues, might be tricky with multiplayer games though

you're about halfway through, good that you're taking your time playing. i wish i could play alyx for the first time again. eat some ginger or have lemon ginger tea and get a fan blowing on you when you play while taking breaks before it gets to be too much, you'll adjust faster

just picked up my third base station, tracking was kinda janky in my large room with only 2 (index).
gonna test it out with some pavlov, maybe try walking dead again. Also strongly considering buying that battle royale population on.
