You could if everything is put in and screwed in properly. You could usually put a tower PC on pretty much any side you like except the back (because resting something on all your cables does offend) Why don't people do this? Well they did and do a lot to cases that have all the buttons ports and plugs on the front/back of the unit. I had a friend ask me once how come some of the computers in his office were mirrored, and was it a left hand thing, it still fucking makes me belly laugh. Why would /g/ maybe be upset at my post is that there's usually an optimal position for airflow and that's a reason why tower overtook horizontally-arranged units. aren't around as much. This is just talking about basic cases and form factors, you can get fucking weird shit. You can even probably get some kind of abominable ITX-form factored PC that looks as bad as this if you really want the same experience and problems!

It is the first console in history that requires a stand both vertically or horizontally. I know it's "just a stand bro" and most people will install it thrn forget about it, yet the mandatory is a design flaw and suggests the console potientallt has design flaws on the inside as well

Sony fucked up so badly. One of the few ways MS could improve the Series X is by having a rotating fan mechanism to reduce bearing friction, like the Mac Pros use. It's a pretty good design overall.
