Looks are never more important than optimal fitness though. You may prefer it but that's it.
Humans are above most (if not all) animals when it comes to endurance, this is what our bodies are the best at. However, you can spend ten years lifting and a malnutrished, sick chimp will still destroy your ass no matter what. We're just not made for raw strength.

I'm 6'4 with a 52" chest non-built. I've been told if I tried hard I would look great cus of my frame, but I'm at a plateau rn and ready to get off the natty train.
