Obsidian didn't plan to let New Vegas be moddable. It was all thanks to Bethesda and their creation kit. Outer Worlds has zero mod support.
Meanwhile KCD got modding tools at the end of 2019.

Not sure, but there are rumors that Sawyer is planning to leave Obsidian and work with Vavra on a medieval game. Sawyer wanting to leave Obsidian part comes from Vavra in an interview on Czech TV

Ive had this idea for awhile, it’d be a rpg version of Wiemar Germany and a lead up to WW2 set in a factionalized Berlin and countryside. You start in WW1 as a soldier and from there make brushes with the criminal, communist, and fascist factions there and decide what direction Germany heads in

If half the shit that Avellone said about Obsidian is true, I don't blame Sawyer at all for wanting to leave it behind.

I was kidding about "alt" part. But they are left and right wing respectively. I like them cause they aren't just you average uninformed dolt following herd mentality. They are very informed on their political opinions. Game made by both of them would be very interesting.
